I just got my Season Tickets delivered. Very nice package. 25 years Kraft Family Ownership theme. They included a limited edition stamped ticket with Brady throwing a pass with his engraved autograph on it. Very cool.

His "signature" farewell?

Let's hope not. It will end some day but it's been a great run. Anyway I was happy for it being included in the package.

Enjoy!

btw . i heard there would be complementary explanation of Belichick Benching Butler as part of the special package (with Kraft's personal appeal to holders to keep that for themselves). Any truth to that?

Enjoy? How can I enjoy after pointing that out? You're right, you've got me thinking. These 25 years with Kraft Family Ownership and the 20 AFC championships, 9AFC championships, 5 Superbowl wins is no reaaon to make a special package for Season ticket holders. Cripes, you'd think we had as dismal an organization as the Jets. I get it, it was an unexplained move. Time to move on. What a miserable bunch of fans we have.

Anyone know how to post tickets to sell ? No more ticket exchange? Has anyone listed them yet?

it was a joke, sorry

the enjoy part was as sincere as can be

Were all your packages missing the usual lanyards?

Yes, there is a hardwritten note from Coach Belichick explaining all the thought process behind his decisioning. But as you say, the STHers are asked to keep it a secret and not leak it to the press or internet, so I can't say anything else.

As for the metallic Brady ticket, this thing is pretty darn cool and will look great on the mantle. And I notice they are taking a year (or more?) off from giving lanyards.

No lanyards in mine. Got the pins though. They probably think people will be using their phones......I might so I can keep my tickets in mint condition.

Thanks for the pics, looks really good.

You've actually been able to sell them thru the account manager since the schedule was released in April. And, you can set your own price.

Does anyone know if selling tickets will be held against the seat holder? Can/will the Patriots revoke tickets if you sell them all through the NFL site? I haven't really seen a policy.

That's an excellent question which I would like to know the answer to myself. I listed my Packers tickets. Nice to sell one game and pay for about half of my $8,000 invoice.

It might be beneficial to contact the Patriots directly about this.

Okay, please take my response with a grain of salt. On April 16th or so, I called the Patriots to find out what he deal was with the new exchange, and it allowing me to set my own price. The gentlemen I spoke with said they no longer penalizing people for reselling their season tickets, and I could set my own price. I was initially a bit skeptical, and, pondered whether I should risk one of my prized assets. Anyways, I discussed it with my friend (who I split with) and we both agreed to give it a try. We've ALWAYS only resold tickets on the exchange, figuring breaking even with zero risk beat selling them to "friends" of ours.. only to find out they sold them to someone else! Anyways, we listed all the games we knew we couldn't go to (travel, work, family obligations, etc,) at the going rate. I sold most of our tickets within 3-4 days. So, I did some quick googling, and, I think the deal is that companies like ticketmaster and stubhub will be reporting this as income. So, I think the patriots no longer care about the whole secondary market because they'll simply get a slice of it. My understanding (and I'm not a tax professional) is that it's normally just state taxes, as it only gets reported, federally, if you hit 200 total sales, or, 20k. So, I do expect getting a form around tax time.

I have a feeling that this change is going to make ticket prices soar. I just listed 2 of my tickets for the Dolphins game. The suggested price was $365 each. That is simply ridiculous. I almost always give tickets away at face value, but how am I supposed to walk away from easily making 200% profit?
