Great to see England finally lose. First good team they've faced and they get found out. Being in the UK hearing the ridiculous English media going on about how amazing they've done every day has been unbearable at times. It's also not hard to hate a team with guys like Kane, Alli, Henderson and Lingard in it. A shame Kane will be Top Scorer considering he only scored 1 decent goal, should have had the game won in the first half and missed an absolute sitter showing how "world class" he really is.

Lingard had an execrable performance in this game.

Sounds like a bitter Scotsman. When’s the last time your team was relevant?

Pretty hard to hate Kane. The guy spoke with a ton of class after the loss and he’s also a big Tom Brady fan (named his dog Brady). As Bill Parcells said ‘you are what you’re record says you are’. Great tournament for England with such a young squad. They still need that playmaking midfielder to get to the top level.

In retrospect I can't say England were all that great. They were efficient at best. But a team that could hold possession was always going to trouble them. Good manager. Likeable players. As always scumbag media and fans thinking 2 to 3 games ahead.
I doubt France will be beaten.

Breaks or not Croatia has no legs ... they have been playing tired the entire game.

That's the World Cup ... a test of attrition which helped them vs England and hindering them today.

Congratulations to France and also to Croatia ...

It was a decent World Cup with some good story lines and drama along the way.
It's not the best technical soccer but the passion was clearly there every game.
I didn't care who won but I do admit it was fun to see some big countries knocked out of it - drama!
