Right there with you. Comparing football to war always grates on me, and on my fellow veterans. Sure, football is a violent game, and needs courage and a strong will to play it, to tough it out. But it doesn't come with the risk of death that even peacetime military service has.

If these 5 have been reported, there are always hidden ones that have not been reported, as much as our society seems to be enlightened about this type of violence, there will always be those who suffer in silence from attacks such as this...

He sounds like a serial rapist.. and hopefully they convict him of all of the allegations, he needs to spend the rest of his time behind high walls.. but as he is 'wealthy" his defense may mitigate his violence...

You think its possible for someone to be a serial kidnapper and rapist of old women and not have mental health issues that would make him a danger to everyone around him in his military unit?

I think he developed his personality as a youngster and he may have been rescued by a term in the military. It used to happen all the time when judges would give that option, rather than jail, to a criminal. I'm not talking about rape though. They needed to get to this kid earlier.

He’s had a past with synthetic illicits, they tend to evoke monsters from with in. Sad stuff all around.

Agree. I have a friend in the Military and it's a big insult to him when athletes say this crap.

Don't know about the battlefield, but when we were in boot camp on Parris Island and were watching our arms being eaten by sand fleas, especially during opening weekend and Phase 1, I would've loved me some Skin So Soft, which all of the DIs were using. Even now, whenever I smell it, it harkens me back to the days...

Yikes - another former NE TE’s life careens tragically out of control.

On a side note, what ever happened to him during his brief time in NE? My recollection is that he played for a game (or two), made a few decent plays, and was abruptly cut.
