For all the hype of another Decision, I still think he stays with the Cavs.

As long as it isn't us, I'll be happy.

With the latest rumors stating that Leonard has openly lobbied for a move to LA, and the fact that Lonzo Ball is supposedly a “staple” in any trade talks, the possibility of him going to the Lakers becomes much higher. I could definitely see that and it’s looking like a strong possibility at this point, but to pair him with Ball? I could never see it.
I can't see Ball, Ball Sr and Pop coexisting longer than 10 minutes

I'm waiting to Ball Sr. blow up on draft night when middle son ISN'T drafted........

and if the Lakers sign him as a FA, it will tell you who is in charge over there and it won't be Magic or Pelinka.. Get your popcorn ready.....

Kim Jong-un would probably love to have an NBA team. Apparently he was obsessed with basketball as a kid.

Apparently now his obsession with basketball is to look like one

Agree. I really don't see LBJ going to LA.

I think Magic would give him space to operate...but to a certain point

Oh I think magic would hand Lebron the keys and say let me know if you need anything from me, and make sure to turn the lights out in office.

You might be right. Magic just wants to win. He doesn't care how or who gets him there.

Magic is way, way over his head and sure he wants to win but has no clue how to as an exec
Pretty sure he knows it too

Pelinka is the brains. Magic is the vision and drive. Magic should have brought back Jerry West in some capacity. Everywhere he goes he has the Midas touch.

Like you I'm skeptical Magic can get it done. I think he's very intelligent but he's no Danny.

Absolutely ... and Ball will look for every angle to profit from it all.
Lebron may be a DB but I think he's smart enough to tell the Lakers ... no balla family.

I still think Lebron going to the Lakers is a win for the NBA.
My kid is a huge shoe collector and those sneakers factor in to the NBA's popularity.

There are the Jordan's, Lebrons, KD's, Kyries and other collabs factoring in.
Young kids watching the NBA to see what shoes the players are wearing ... it's a big deal.
If Lebron goes to the Lakers he will not want Levar hawking his BBB sneakers with his kid a Laker.

It's amazing how the hoop shoe industry became a billion dollar industry.

Back in the 80s I wore Reebok because Danny Ainge wore them and the Converse Bird shoe was too clunky.

The Dee Brown "pump" shoe was actually very comfortable.

I wear Adidas now. Extra gel and shock support designed for old feet :p

It's sad too because you know all these people will change their tune if he signs with us and the whole basketball world revolves around the Celtics again and we know all year we are heading to the Finals.

I promise you right here and now that I will not change my tune if James signs with the Celtics. I don't want him there. Between money, age and re-vamp requirements, I don't want the team to even entertain the notion.

Now, if you're telling me that he's willing to sign for very small money (like exception-level small), I'm willing to re-think my position.

Pop would put Ball Sr. in his place real quick.

It's the Lakers fans worst nightmare to have another Ball son on the team. Lonzo is already on a short leash.

Unfortunately like Andy Johnson said, Magic would probably let LeBron run the team. The Lakers are getting really desperate and it's been that way for years. As a LA native and long time Lakers fan, LeBron or insert big name player to LA has been the subject of local sports talk for years. And they've missed out on every one. It's getting insane.

The Ball family, more like Lavar Ball, has been an embarrassment for the Lakers. He's making the Lakers look like even more of a joke. Magic, Pelinka and Jeanie Buss have been doing a good job trying their best to make the Lakers competitive after Jim Buss was running the team into the ground with his poor decisions and he didn't care. I could definitely see LeBron tell the Lakers he'll sign but Ball goes.

And the NBA is definitely rooting for the Lakers to be good again as it's just not the same when they aren't good. Same with the Knicks (they're a lost cause) and Celtics. These small market teams that are good right now is a big turn off for the casual fans.

James might be the one guy who can actually get LaVar to STFU or Lonzo will wind up in some place like Brooklyn or Siberia.

I think he will wind up in LA with a buddy, probably Paul George.

I'll have to disagree with you on that. Him, Pelinka and Jeanie Buss have done a pretty good job getting the Lakers back on track after Jim Buss ran the team into the ground. Magic has also played a big role getting the Dodgers good again.

Pelinka is the brains. Magic is the vision and drive. Magic should have brought back Jerry West in some capacity. Everywhere he goes he has the Midas touch.

Jerry West was good but it was more Jerry Buss than West. Players loved Buss and he was the one that always sealed the deal for big name players to come to LA. He was the closer. The reason Shaq decided to come to LA was because Buss personally called him late at night and offered him a contract he couldn't refuse. Jerry was a baller!
