The point that was and still is completely lost on you apparently, since the whole intent was nothing more than a humorous remark ;)

Where the hell did I say anything about have to and what the heck is with going all AJ here man? Now please go ahead and exercise that alpha gene that Ms Beta apparently enjoys so much and get the last word on this subject. This has become tedious and you really should get back to looking for the sense of humor I have enjoyed seeing on display in most of our other interactions.
Maybe next time the humorous remark should actually be... humorous?

BB continuing his modus operandi this offseason with canceling OTAs? Anyone that can’t see that this guy’s priorities have changed needs to pull their heads out of their asses.

Back on topic, just for the moment....

Patriots have cancelled their final two OTAs

Anyone still want to try peddling that "every snap needed" angle? How about those poor new guys getting screwed by not having the maximum time to get ready?

Answer honestly:

If Brady committed to attend, do you think he still would have cancelled?

  • Learning routes and route adjustments
  • Learning to play off of one another
  • Becoming a more tightly knit team
No Brady needed for that.
Yeah, who needs the QB when receivers are learning routes and route adjustments.

Wait, whuh?!?

Bill is just trying to create a better work environment so players can have more fun.

I'm sure there will be ice cream socials at TC

Between the ice cream and using The Hill for a slip n slide instead of runs maybe the Pats will move up a notch on the Johnson Funometer

All you need is a RV in the parking lot and a food truck and Gillette will be become Water Country South

Yeah I can't imagine my girlfriend ever wanting me to wear something like that. Or at least she hasn't asked me to wear something like that yet. She DID try to get me to wear a V-neck about a year ago which I declined and then gave to Goodwill afterward.

Can always whip the V-neck out of the closet for some role play, just saying

One way or another, I'm sensing that this is the last rodeo.
I don't get that sense at all from BB and everything Brady says still leads to mid forty. Skipping OTAs isn't the best sign but other than that and age neither has given any indication this would be it.

I think there’s a good chance that Brady retires if he wins the Super Bowl this year. It’s quite clear that he’s beginning to want to spend more time with his family. Another W in the Super Bowl puts him at 6 with 9 appearances. We likely don’t see that kind of success from any other quarterback within our lifetimes.

And he’s getting tired of Bill...

Sounds reasonable. To take the 6th ring and step down would be an appropriate moment to finish his marvelous career.

Or Brady gets a season-ending injury. I am worried that he is not taking the offseason seriously; the last time he tried this, he had a season-ending injury. If it happens this season, it will be career-ending.

With all due respect, I don't think the Bernard Pollard knee lunge had anything to do with off-season preparation, or lack thereof.

Maybe I worry too much, but Brady is not taking the offseason seriously. It take more than avocado ice cream and jet-setting to Monaco to prepare your body for the NFL, especially at his age.

It would suck if his season washes out and we miss the chance with Jimmy G.
