Edelman facing 4 game suspension

No idea what's up here, of course, but I guess a pretty standard thing for these guys to use HGH to recover from an injury. Especially the older ones. The issue seems to more about who gets caught.

Failing a piss test has nothing to do with a painted target.

I just hope there's nothing in the TB12 system that could affect more players.

When has Guerrero ever been associated with using banned substances? His past involves misleading, unsubstantiated claims about what his products can do & what his qualifications were. Unless I'm missing something here, it's lazy and utterly bizarre how many people are willing to stretch his past into something else entirely.

It will be a juicy (but nonsensical) story for some media outlets but given Edelman's age and the injury he is coming back from I think it is pretty straight forward what happened. He rather risked getting caught and missing the first couple of games than being physically behind.

That's what happens when you got a QB with a quak doctor/guru thinking he knows better than the pros.

Anything from the team/team doctors would of been tested so it's likely even if accidental it came from Jules taking it himself without getting team approval or worse still Guerrero/TB12.

Sucks, but better the beginning of the season than at the end.

I don't get it, why was he taking Adderall?

I'm not really bothered by this. Jules has built up enough cred with me to get a pass for making a mistake. Screw the mediots and what other morons say.

With that said if he was purposeful in taking PEDs.... I get it. At his age its tough to come back from an ACL and maybe he needed help. Hes trying to collect $500k workout bonus and $1.5m in salary this year and maintain his standing as TB12s #1 target on a Super Bowl contender. Hes got a kid to support. He has other financial things going on. He NEEDS this.

Plus he gets September to ease into things and get more comfortable making cuts

For him, the risk of getting busted was worth the stretch.

Yeah, Guerrero isn't really known for pushing the clinically proven stuff.

The new appeal process should be Cris Collinsworth looking into your eyes and asking you if you did it and Mark Brunnell will make the final decision based on your response.
