Field Yates reporting that Edelman may be suspended 4 games for PEDs?

Sorry can't work the twitter on my phone

This might work out to their advantage. Gives Edelman more time to be 100%. Though the suspension is under appeal. Though him being a Patriot, I expect it to be double.

So, on the one hand, this sucks.

On the other hand, he still gets to participate in camp, and it saves 4 games of wear-and-tear on his body. As we know, this was actually beneficial for Tom when he missed his 4 games in 2015... if you wanna be optimistic about it, it could be somewhat of a forced blessing in disguise. Don't get me wrong, Edelman is a huge piece of winning games, but it also gives them time to get reps for other guys during the part of the season that Bill often treats as the "extended preseason".

Also gives Berrios and Matthews more time with Brady. Really not worried about it, nor am I worried about moronic haters tweeting Cheatriots again. No other team gets caught for PEDs

Who was the guy here who had the source?

My mistake man, you were right. I just didn’t want to believe it.

So how many people freaking out about Manning are going to let this slide as not a big deal?

I think the general consensus was that it was understandable that someone would want to use HGH for recovery for injury, but the sheer hypocrisy of the league and media in blowing up deflategate into a national headline while ignoring it was ****ing ridiculous.

So it's not really hypocritical if you also don't inherently care much about the infraction itself here. HGH is probably worth the risk when you're recovering from a major injury. Even if you get caught, there's a good chance you wouldn't have been playing those four games anyway if you didn't accelerate your recovery.

Apparently has taken hundreds of tests before but never once tested positive.

So I see this as either this is something he did out of desperation in order to recover, or else maybe this actually is a mistaken drug test.

I don’t believe that this is something he’s been doing his whole career if he has been taking PED’s.

Ah didn't think of the roster exemption too. Possibly an extended tryout for a WR like Berrios, yeah.

c'mon man.......squirrels don't get like that on their own

The only thing is that his injury happened before last season started. When Welker had the same injury during the last game of the season he was out there at the start of training camp, IIRC.
So if Jules actually did take PED's due to injury then it really wasn't worth the risk.
