Who cares? He's a jealous moron. I don't understand why some Pats fans get bothered by idiots like him. We've been dealing with them for 10-15 years now.

And as we all know, a big part of their record was due to fact we had the GOAT as our coach

Ok, so you’re saying Brady would have given us another 2-3 wins.

I agree

So how the hell did we win 11 games with a below average quarterback?
The 2007 and 2008 Patriots were arguably the two most stacked teams the Patriots have fielded in franchise history talent wise. Cassell was also average. More over, the 2008 schedule was one of the top 5 easiest schedules the Patriots had in the Brady/Belichick run. We played two divisions where only one of those 8 teams had a winning record and it was 9-7. We lost to all the teams that were scheduled to us based off first place designations last year.

All fair points, but Surely you’re not trying to say Belichick isn’t the greatest coach of all time.

Without him or Brady, we likely would have been half as good in my opinion. He is the architect of the winning culture and he’s made Brady better

The real question is how the hell did they miss the playoffs with 11 wins?

The answer: they didn't beat anybody worth a damn and had zero tiebreakers.
Not many mediocre backups that never played before have won 11 games though

I tend to think if you look through the history of sports great players and great coaches are both connected and it's far too difficult to separate them.

NFL:
Starr/Lombardi
Montana/Walsh
Unitas/Shula
Graham/Brown
Brady/Belichick

NBA:
Russell/Aurebch
Jordan/Jackson
Magic/Riley

I think it's way too hard to decide who deserves more credit.

Let this be a lesson to all the people on here who said "Meh, if the Eagles beat us it's not the worst thing, I don't hate them or anything"

Give a win and all of the sudden you get insufferable idiots like this

Don't forget Shaq & Kobe/Jackson. While the Lakers were talented in the 90's, they were massive underachievers and kept getting owned by Utah in he late 90's who was an inferior team. The Lakers coaching staff refused to come up with an answer for Utah's pick and roll scheme which was infuriating to watch. Then in '99 when Del Harris was finally fired and Kurt Rambis took over, the Lakers didn't respond well to him and was embarrassed by the Spurs in the playoffs who the Lakers handled in the regular season. That was one disfunctfual squad. Teammates had to go pick up Dennis Rodman at his home because he'd forget about the games. Lol. Phil Jackson was the best acquisition for the Lakers during that decade. Without him, they don't win anything. Coaching and talent goes hand in hand. You have to have both to be successful.

************, what the **** is lane johnson's problem?

His **** talking is coming to bounce back on him incredibly hard if the eagles don't live up to the hype.

Can somebody do a random PED test and get this fool a lifetime ban from the league.
He roids up so much he makes David Bostons physique and Peyton Manning's head look natural.

Even assuming BB is a "difficult" boss to work for, how miserable can it be when you only directly interact with him half a year? Suck it up, butter cup.

Regards,
Chris

Still hard to believe that we lost to nick freaking foles. That game still irks me. All in all the defense has had its struggles even in the championship years. I don’t expect it to be any better next season. It will be middle of the pack.
