Jets Suck -- 2018 Edition (Official): Fifty Fabulous Years of Futility!

Bridgewater should be able to wrestle the starting job from mccown. I have always thought he had a chance to be a really good qb. He just needs to stay healthy.

Yeah it's an interesting mix.

1. The old man willing to lead and teach others. Who proved he can play well if needed.

2. The young 25 year old who has already been to the playoffs and a pro bowl. With injury concerns.

3. The top tier rookie rushing to learn as much as possible.

I like the rotation and number of reps in team drills in day 1 of OTAs.

McCown as starter with 8 reps.
Teddy as #2 with 7 reps.
Sam as #3 with like 15 reps.

It's early. Gonna be interesting to watch how those numbers change this offseason.

Interesting snippet from the article:

"So here’s a question: If Johnson is as opposed to the new rule as it seems he is, why did he vote for it?"

:D

Well Woody is still the owner. Chris is the CEO.

Did CEOs vote?

Yep, it's inevitable. As sure as green slime sinking to the bottom of the pond, the Jete will suck for eternity!

His dopey CEO brother apparently didn't get the memo. Since the new Jete Way credo includes "Blame Nobody," this gaffe probably will go unexplained.

No. Chris is just smarter.

"Smarter" when it comes to that rinky-dink outfit is a relative concept.

By the way, I've been meaning to ask you: since part of the new, official Jete motto is "Blame Nobody," who assumes responsibility for 50 years of futility? When you put "Blame Nobody" and "Expect Nothing" together, that's a directive to just shut up and accept mediocrity. Which makes perfect sense as far as summarizing longstanding Jete organizational philosophy. That leaves third part "Do Something" as pretty vague -- perhaps intentionally so?

Who assumes responsibility for the amazing five past decades of Jets football fun? Every member of the organization and the fans the past 5 decades.

And I believe those three parts of the motto are perhaps intentionally vague to allow the players to read into it as they well. No hand holding necessary. You either view it in a skeptical/negative light, in which case you won't last long. Or you step up to the plate and play like a Jet.

I believe most will understand things a bit better than yourself. We'll see though.

Don't ever leave us, JeteFan. The above is pure comedy gold.

Sure, if your idea of "fun" is:

Or you step up to the plate and play like a Jet.
You've got your sports mixed up. Regardless, "play like a Jet" isn't what you want your team to do if winning is the goal.

I believe most will understand things a bit better than yourself.

Here is further summation of the Jete organizational philosophy:

Sanchise truly played like a jet but that doesn't look like any plate I've ever seen he (ahem) stepped up to...

To the contrary, that passive-aggressive cretin is a waste of space, time, air, bandwidth and energy. If he left us last year it would've been none too soon.

I hear you, and understand completely. It’s just that he’s so freakin delusional about that team, it cracks me up every time I read his drivel. I’d miss the entertainment. YMMV.
