I don’t know if this guy is a legit source, so Mods please feel free to delete. Also, don’t please shoot the messenger. ;) Anyway, what do you all think of Rosen?

The guy has some skill. A guy like that under bill belichick could turn out to be a stud. He would sit a couple of years under brady.

If he doesn't continue to be a turnover machine and takes football more seriously. Those are two "if's" that I'd rather not explore, though. I'd much rather have Mayfield. I think he'd thrive in this system and he's one of the only QBs in this draft that I've seen CONSISTENTLY use his eyes to move safeties at the college level. He'd also want to come in and immediately push Brady for the starting job instead of simply being content to sit and learn behind him.

Somebody is using Allbright as leverage against the Bills. It happened when the Bills were the only team left as a logical fit for McCarron, and it’s happening again with the Bills now trying to trade up for a QB.

Allbright's relatively legitimate, but I don't expect Rosen will be a possibility.

He's my top QB in the class though, and it's frankly not even close. It's rare to see a quarterback in college who regularly makes it to his third progression, and Rosen throws beyond his first read with regularity.

I like him as well but his success will come under a good franchise.

To each his own. The only thing that I personally like about Rosen is that his mechanics are nearly flawless. Everything else about him, at least IMO, just says, "buyer beware". That said, I don't expect him to be available when we pick and I don't expect the Patriots to trade up that far to get him.

I know you really like Mayfield. He's my second favorite quarterback in the draft, followed by Jackson then Darnold. I would be happy with any of the four, but the only one they realistically have a shot at is Jackson (and even that might take moving up into the mid-teens).

We can do the Horah at Gillette every time he scores.

He’s the best pure passer & the most polished QB at such a young age since Andrew Luck IMO. Since I’ve gotten more into the draft since 2013 (still casual compared to the draft forum), he’s the first QB I’ll have ranked #1 overall. Near flawless mechanics - release, footwork, accuracy, ball placement & a strong arm. He’s basically a more polished Garoppolo.

With that said I do understand the concerns regarding his personality. He seems..different. His level of QBing on the field before age 21 is absurd though.

If he ever fell like Rodgers I think we’d be all on that. I hope the Jets don’t get him honestly. He’s really good.

We definitely disagree on Mayfield. I hate his antics, and I don't see that being something BB wants to deal with as he approaches 70. I revert to him saying, paraphrasing, that he want to coach guys he wants to coach. I can't imagine that guy being on that list.

I’m hoping Mayfield gets blackout drunk and assaults a police horse before the draft and falls.
