This was great news to see today. Makes the Patterson signing that much sweeter.

Sign Waddle and list Slater as a LB and we have a complete team going into the draft...aw yeah....baby.

Thought for sure he was gone with the Ebner contract and the Patterson signing.

So happy to be wrong! Heart and soul of the team.

Good for Slater. He looked around-a bit, he hopefully got a good deal with the Patriots, the Patriots can afford him without it affecting another critical need too much, Slater stays healthy for 2 seasons and he retires healthy and plus 2 additional rings.

BB looks to be making STs an even greater emphasis (ST had areas that definitely needed improvement). Will be interesting to see what is added on the LB side as well as who will be the new Solder. Despite the seeming exodus and the illusion of doom, IMHO signs suggest the Patriots having enough in all 3 phases/complimentary to be in the mix come January.
