NE trades for WR/KR Patterson !

We have to be the Kings of swapping picks and trading back a round to pick up a player in the last year of his deal.

He was my draft binkie that year lol Gutted he didn't make it bigger.

Anyway, remember him last year on a play that rocked, he bulldozed about 3 guys on a play and kept going when another three brought him down, he brought it on that play. One of my fav non patriot plays last year.. It was Marshawn Lynch type head in first play.. lol

Incidentally I was watching the NFL network the other day on the morning show and one of the guys was doing his fav plays where players bring it.. the play above was 2nd overall. I wonder if they were watching and got a reminder of the play and that kicked things off.

Off to look for the play on video.

I don’t think it’s related.
We didn’t bring back Amendola because 6 mill a year is stupid for a wr4/5 when you have Edelman, cooks, hogan, Mitchell, Britt and dorsett

This is a guy to compete with Mitchell Britt and Dorset for 2 spots.

He costs nothing to cut

I doubt he’s going to get much action in the offense. His route running is pretty limited. This feels like more of a move to bolster the ST.

I'm not the only poster who heard of the trade, thought about the fights over Patterson leading up to his draft year, and just about pissed himself laughing about how this thread might go, right?

That was quite a tense draft.

Going to be an interesting camp to see who makes the WR roster out of camp. This pick up is not a great sign for Britt.

Instead of extending dion were gonna replace his production with multiple players who are less expensive. We’ll see if it works out

Can't believe they ****ing traded that pick to draft Jamie Collins who they then traded and eventually traded to get Cordarrelle Patterson

Good news from TC would be that CP is working on punt returns as well..

I don't think many have high hopes for Patterson as a receiver he's being brought in for special teams. That said he's a better receiver than Dorsett and Britt.

He's a great kick returner and ****ty receiver. Don't mind grabbing him for nothing.
