If you think about it, this forces the browns to take a QB at 1, since the jets will likely take whoever the browns would have wanted at 4. Barkely goes to the giants, which I would hate because they are going to become good again. The jets should have waited until draft day to make this move.

I didn’t say they or anyone else called them the same. If the top 3 of their draft board consists of 3 QBs. Who all have a chance of being drafted in the top 5, and they don’t have a top 5 pick, they have to pull the trigger

DEN will take a QB. Keenum is not a long term answer. Elway's ego insists that he keep trying till he drafts the next Payton Manning and then he can ride off into the sunset.

I understand you can construct make believe scenarios to show why it would be smart to give up so much (from a team with holes all over it) to get the leftover qb but it just isn’t likely.
If they trade up to 1 or 2 now then I’ll understand it.
Who do you think was trading up ahead of 6 to get the 3rd choice at qb? I don’t see anyone.

If it’s mayfield then they got fleeced badly. IMO none of those QBs are impressive. The browns should take Barkely and target a QB later in the draft.

One teams 3rd choice could be another teams first choice. Neither of us know what the Jets draft board looks like.
