Depends on who they get. Right now, though, this is a fleecing. If they end up with the next great QB, it's an excellent move.

This will all depend if the giants pass on a QB and take Barkley.

Hard to believe the colts did something right but that was a no brainer.

Yes, but this is the Jete. They'll pick the wrong QB, or they'll pick a safety.

It’s not a fleecing or an excellent move right now. I’m in disagreement there. There’s a hot market for these picks. There are teams in a position of a biggggg need. What the colts just got is reflective of the quarterbacks in this class.

No one has any idea who the jets like. There is a chance Darnold, Rosen, Allen are all off the board by the 6th pick because of trade ups

I'm evaluating it based on the info we have right now. That's a lot of ammo to only move up three spots and not even be sure you're going to get your guy. That's a fleecing. If they get their guy and their guy hits, the opinion is subject to change.

It won't matter who the jest take. They could select brady, montana, manning, or marino, as soon as the player comes in contact with the putrid green slim of an organization they're career will be over. The jete have that effect on players especially qb's.

Personally, I think McCagnan knows what he’s doing. I think this means the Jets are comfortable with 2 of the 3, atleast

He’s got more rings than you and me

You only give up that kind of return for a specific player, and the Jets have left room for teams to move up in front of them and take that player. That’s just stupid imo.

I Don’t think there is any way they pass on Nelson if he’s there at 6. Could’ve happened at 3, not at 6 with the ammo they have now

It’s a fleecing unless the Jete are capable of choosing the best QBs at 3, who ALSO wouldn’t be there at 6.
They moved ahead of Denver and Cleveland. Cleveland will take a qb at 1 abs Denver just paid keenum.
Unless the colts were going to trade with someone else who was going to take the same qb the jets like they may have just outbid themselves at a cost of 3 2nd round picks.

Not to mention they traded up to get “fill in the blank” because QBs are likely to go 1 and 2 and they will be left with whoever was left.
