Winning Patriot of the week for 16 weeks straight....What special treatment?
Same guy who is coming off arguably the greatest Super Bowl performance of all time..?Brady would not even be playing right now if not for that special treatment.
Question: Is there ever a media report that has bad news in it that isn't immediately labeled as fake news by patsfans.com posters?
Seriously, if Brady and Gronk thought things were going along just fine this would be nipped in the bud ages ago. It's telling that it wasn't. I'm not saying the situation isn't fixable, and I could buy that it is being overstated but to just immediately default to 'this guy is making it all up' when he works for a major news outlet and is citing a source just seems like wishful thinking.
Funny how you guys don't require a signed affidavit and grand jury testimony from named sources when it is good news.
The difference between you and Brady is that Brady can walk out tomorrow and every company in his industry would pay top dollar for a one year contract and Brady's new team would instantly be several magnitudes better for it and Brady's old team will be several magnitudes worse for it.Here’s the deal though. Brady should understand why he can’t have his own trainer hanging around the facility with his own special treatment. Allowing that would create a big problem within the locker room. It would also create a problem with the training staff. Open up the door to legal issues, privacy concerns. If Brady wants to be treated differently than his peers and receive special treatment, then it would appear he has lost touch with what made this team so great all of these years. They run out of that locker room as a team, they don’t run out carrying Brady. My boss tears into me in front of my peers whenever he feels the need to. I’m at the top of my game, and I don’t complain or get upset about it. I get it. As a leader I understand it. Moss’s testimony to his own reaction is a perfect example.

People shouldn't forget that Belichick went 5-11 and was 0-2 staring down another mediocre season when Brady showed up.
I don't think that's true at all. The issue, as I understand it, is Guerrero's approach conflicting with the training staff generally (and involving multiple players), not BB opposing Gurerrero working on Brady specifically. Brady should understand this and just work around it. He hasn't been prohibited from getting treatment from Guerrero, just not in team training facilities.Brady being under appreciated has less to do with Belichick not saying thanks, and more to do with him not accepting Brady’s approach to preparing himself physically.
Maybe there's a happy medium that can be reached between the training staff and Guerrero, I don't know. But the training staff are team employees and certified in what they do, Guerrero is an outside entrepeneur who is not certified and is unconventional. It makes sense that the team wants its own people working on players they have many millions invested in.Ultimately the players do the winning - the coach at times does have to adapt if he wants to win. There has to be a team effort - includes the coach and players.
Where would Belichick be? He made the playoffs once out of 7 seasons without Brady. He made the playoffs 15 out of 16 times with him.and where do you think Brady would be if it weren't for BB drafting him? probably ringless
I don’t believe Brady has become this primadonna that he is being made out to be. I stand by my earlier statement though. If Brady feels like he deserves special treatment and that is what is causing this whole problem, then send him packing. You start giving guys like Brady and Gronk special treatment, and everything goes south a helluvalot quicker people think it is already. Look at the rest of the league and the constant drama on those teams. Look at the over the top, outrageous behavior players on these other teams broadcast. They act that way because they know they can get away with it. I’m not saying Brady would take advantage and act that way, but when the HC isn’t pampering his superstar, kinda makes the others stay in line. Again, I don’t believe for a second any of this stuff is because Brady is upset that he has to train with his trainer somewhere else. I feel like that is something he would get over. But I wouldn’t be surprised for one second if we found out it was because Brady sees all of the potential $$ his co. TB12 would have if he was allowed to bring his team mates in as clients. The difference between you and Brady is that Brady can walk out tomorrow and every company in his industry would pay top dollar for a one year contract and Brady's new team would instantly be several magnitudes better for it and Brady's old team will be several magnitudes worse for it.

It is not fair to count the 2008 team. That was the second best team in the NFL by the end of the season.
BB also had two rings as a DC with the Gints. I’d say it’s been mutually beneficial.
It's ironic to me that Gronk's veiled tweets and the Tom vs Time final episode feature strong hints of displeasure with Belichick, when Belichick, at least in my memory, has never publicly thrown either of them under the bus. I guess loyalty is a one way street.
I could be wrong, but I don’t think anyone is suggesting that it has anything to do with the players who left in free agency. Those players simply received offers from teams willing to spend more money than the Pats valued them at. There was no way they were going to pay that much more any of those players, which is the same as any other year.
It’s the recent release of the final episode of the documentary, as well as the continued saga with Gronk + some new “sources” and recent tweets/articles/interviews. I think it mainly centers around four people: Brady, Gronk, Guerrero, and Belichick. If there’s more of a widespread team rift, it’s likely due to the leaders being a bit disgruntled as well as the decision regarding Butler and the SB loss.
