Keyword being former, of course.

No, keywords being stupid question. Let it drop. You had a mindless homer moment. It'll pass.

Let's move on and enjoy some fun from the past.

Tom Brady is no longer a top-5 QB

Locker room culture change happens every year.

that's part of what makes following this team so interesting.

And that is why ESPN Insider or any pay-to-read site isn't worth ****....I can find those kinds of posts on rival messageboards....

Tom Brady ‘is going to be a bum’ soon, says Max Kellerman on ‘First Take’

“Tom Brady is just about done. It could be the next game he plays, it could be a year from now, but he is going to fall off a cliff.

“Tom Brady is going to be a bum in short order.”

“Will it be this year? Not necessarily. I can see Brady, if he gets through the year without an injury, putting up big numbers.

“But then it’ll be next,” he continued. “He’ll be terrible by the middle of next season.”

Doesn't pull you into the ESPN circle?

There's a documentary about 2009? Sounds interesting and painful.

It's pretty fascinating to watch, the sideline conversation with Brady once he was pulled during the MNF game versus the Saints and the meeting with coaches where he predicts what will happen if Moss got doubled and Welker was covered are great.

Sounds like Light’s get off my lawn moment.

I'll question the culture when we start having losing seasons.

We just had to lose the Super Bowl lol all the bs this offseason, different tune if we win

I love you Deus, but very few posters can get away with this type of condescension - even done in jest (and directed toward such a valued member as Kontra no less!). "Keep it above the belt" is just not in your lexicon! :):p

Mat Green Light has no more of an idea of the current "culture" inside the Patriots locker room than any of us do. And this clown almost single handedly gave the Giants the 2007 Superbowl on a silver platter with one of the most pathetic performances in Super Bowl history. I will never forgive him for that. Incredibly overrated, inconsistent LT, just like Solder. We haven't had a truly great one since Armstrong.

I’ll agree that there are issues but that does not mean the base ideals of the pats has changed. Those things are two separate things

Everyone is free to agree or disagree with Matt Light. The thing I question is the idea that he is clueless just because he has retired.

My guess is that the political opinions have some part in that.

I think that really he’s talking about modern players in general, not trying to say that BB has changed the system. Players have more power now, and obviously the system won’t be exactly the same.
I don't agree with this. I think some players are getting special treatment and that is undermining The Patriot Way. The Patriot Way is The Bill Belichick Way. The owner is undermining BB by being a fan first. It's too bad, but he's an old sentimental man and he owns the team. It was fun while it lasted. I'm grateful to Mr. Kraft for the last 20 years, but Jimmy G is going to be tough to replace and I suspect RKK would push TB12 out on the field in a wheel chair if it came down to that. Kind of surprised coach has not moved on.

He said something once that ticked me off [can't remember]. That clip, if anyone actually watched it, was pretty reasonable and probably true. Also, it was more about the league than the Patriots. It's also true we don't have as many leaders as we did in the early run.

Always he case that it's hard to have a valid opinion if you don't watch something.
