Miami releasing Suh - Patriots?

I think suh is not a good fit for us in general and free lances a lot. I hope we do not sign him.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha

You might actually be the one person I think actually believes that
It’s not even close. To even suggest it exposes that you know nothing about football.

The arrogance of this comment is a prime example of why it's pointless to argue with you. 99% of fans and sports writers would rank Suh as a better player than Hightower.

You were just exposed as a massive homer.

Suh: 5 Pro Bowls. 4 First Team All Pros. 2 Second Team All Pros. Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Hightower: 1 Pro Bowl. 1 Second Team All Pro

No one who studies film and knows what they are looking at would say that.
There is no point continuing this conversation.

That's funny because I'm pretty sure Suh will get paid more than anybody else in free agency this year, while Hightower wouldn't. So are you arguing that all the NFL evaluators don't know anything about football.

This is why I can't respect your arguments. You make these stupid baseless opinions that you can't and refuse to back up and then argue them like they are gospel. It's so tedious. And then you have the hubris to talk about intelligence when it's so evident you are just a biased fanboy.

Andy despite our disagreements earlier, I do agree with you that Hightower is a better football player. Some people (including myself) just want Suh in NE because he’d improve the pass rush immensely; thus making the D better. As far as his taking plays off & being a dirty player I also agree with that to a degree. However, due to his talent alone, I’m willing to let BB deal with that.

We have Malcolm Brown, Danny Shelton and Vincent Valentine, unless he takes a really reasonable contract (really wants to win) and/or the Pats think Valentine is toast... Suh isn't coming here.

Does anyone really believe he'll take a reasonable contract?

It is very easily backed up by watching football and possessing knowledge. As I said there is no point in continuing this conversation. Stick with arguing based upon reputation I’ll stick with watching players play.

I don’t care about the dirty part much.
It’s the free lancing, which is rampant and will never cut it here and the lack of effort.

What happened the last time Suh was in free agency

Suh wouldn't be brought in to compete with VV or Shelton. IF, big IF, the Pats were to go after him and land him, they'd be going to a 3-4 with Suh and Brown flanking Shelton-or-VV. With Guy behind them.

That would be my bet anyway.

The difference is my argument has substance and shows how Suh's play has been evaluated and perceived throughout his career compared to Hightower, while your argument has no value and boils down to "derp I watch film and my opinion matters more than any objective standard"

Yep, I’d be almost willing to guarantee that he’s not coming here

Agreed.

You don’t pass on Suh because your third DT is Vincent Valentine who spent the entire past year on the IR.

Suh is a better player than anyone we have on our defensive line. If you get a chance to sign him for a reasonable deal, you do it without hesitation.
