Miami releasing Suh - Patriots?

I can see this happening. Solder and Suh at slightly less than market deals would still blow a lot of the free agent budget. But they can make that up by cutting Gillislie and Dwayne Allen, restructuring Brady, maybe couple more restructures.

Need an RB so bring in a rookie- seems Like a higher percentage of rookies are able to make valuable contributions their first year at the RB position. Sign a cheap RB like woodhead or Gore.

Defensively if they have Suh and Shelton and some continued improvement from Flowers, might be enough with Hightower hopefully able to play 10 games + playoffs.

I dont know if he fits the scheme but Brent Grimes for one year would be nice. Or some other mid market CB2. Jones and Rowe would be decent slot corners.

Then for the draft I’d do RB and LB and a tackle prospect. I think some O-line prospects would be good to get the Scar tutoring before he retires again.

Has played 12+ and playoffs every year except this past year, so don't act like this has been a recurring thing with Hightower. He's missed a few games but he's always been out there on the first play and final play of the season, before this season

Any move that bolsters this trash front 7 gets an A+ from me, and Suh would do that.

Brent Grimes stayed with the Bucs.

Report: Brent Grimes agrees to one-year, $10 million deal to remain with Bucs

Suh is in Seattle. "Exciting news" upcoming. Seahawks seem like a good bet, unless anyone else can think of another reason for him to be there today. He was born and raised in Oregon, so this would be “home”, to some degree. The Pats rumor was fun but I’d be glad to at least get him out of the AFC and away from TB12.

Nothing. He’s from out West. Portland to be exact, but he works out in Seattle.

Well Seattle can't officially talk to him until he is released, so him being in Seattle and posting 2 days before he could officially talk to him and saying "exciting news" and then signing with Seattle could open Seattle up to tampering charges.

More relevant to us he seems pleasant enough for me to totally forget his rep. Sign the beast.

As I mentioned in another thread, it's very likely the Dolphins gave his agent the green light to speak to other teams once they stated that they intended to release him, similar to what teams do when someone demands a trade.

To not do so would invite a potential grievance from the NFLPA because the team would effectively be holding the player hostage for their own gain.

"Not a guarantee but definitely a possibility"

Is Bert Breer running that twitter account?

Dirty Suh would be a Beast on this D a DT who gets sacks.

I can’t help it. I just don’t want dirty players here.

I'll deal with it, but I feel the same way.

I can't defend this, but I don't even know if Suh has any sort of criminal history and I'd like the signing less than James Harrison, which is saying something.

Seahawks make more sense than the Patriots.

Up until this offseason I would agree. But at this moment Seattle looks like a team in transition getting rid of high priced vets in favor of cheaper draft picks. I would think after experiencing a career on losing teams that suh prioritizes winning over $$. Or maybe he just wants to make as much as possible before retiring. Won’t fault him for that
