If he’s allowed to leave, it’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen including the time I saw a guy put his face in a fan. Wtf is going on?

I can easily see the Pats just showing zero leeway to move away from their evaluation. What I find shocking about this is trying to make sense of the Dolphins entire FA approach so far.

Good for Dola if he got paid and gets to finish it out in a nicer climate. He deserves it. Too bad we couldn't make it work for him to retire as a Pat because he definitely has build up hero status for his playoff performances.

As an aside, best of luck to you Danny, and thank you for everything! We survived losing Brown. We survived losing Welker. We survived Edelman going down for the year with injury. We will miss Amendola, but we will survive him leaving too.

Danny Amendola when healthy was cat like quick. He will be missed.

Saddest thing for me would be no more amendola super bowl touchdowns.

As an aside, this clears a minor logjam at WR. While things can certainly change, this sets the 5 man corps.

he is showing everyone just how smart he is. would like to see us get a LB and CB in FA...oh, not to mention LT

2 years $12 million with $8.25 million guaranteed. Not as big a deal as other WRs have been getting, but probably more than we should be paying our 3rd or 4th WR.

I love Amendola and would have liked him back. But Patriots can’t keep everyone and have muxh bigger areas of need to spend their resources on.
