Fair enough. We were far from perfect in that department last year, so I can’t complain with attempting to boost that.

We will still need to do more up front though, it’s not quite a cure all.

I had not realized that Shelton had played as well as he did.

You sort of assume after a while that any player picked by the Browns has something wrong with them.

He has all the tools to be their best nose since Vince. Browns run defense was pretty good last year. I love this, and they get an extra pick this year too.

Good move, a big run stuffer was needed to replace Branch.

Brown, Shelton and Valentine is a grade A rotation. With Guy inside on 3rd and long and playing some end on early downs as long as we're healthy we have one of the strongest defensive fronts once again. We're only a year removed from 2016 where we had the #1 ranked defense. Great move.

So what now becomes the primary need in the draft? Edge, linebacker, ot, corner/safety or possibly tight end?

This is a great pick up for us. Gives us what we need. A big Body human to stop the run. Can see us playing 3-3-5 potentially.

Now that's one less draft need.

Damn, a little steeper than I thought. But the 5th we’re getting this year will almost essentially be a 4th rounder, so I’m okay with it.

I'd imagine that most of them do not have any grasp of what a winning team looks like, so I'd bet yes.

We now have the top two DTs of the 2015 draft in Brown and Shelton.
