Sherman on the Way Out?

They bring Sherman aboard and add some pieces up front to go along with either Rivers, Wise, or both contributing in the pass rush, and this is an absolutely dominant defense. Maybe the best the team has had since 2003.

That’s why I wanted to know whether the pats can trade the rights to Butler for Sherman. What if Butler agrees to sign a contract with Seattle between now and next Wednesday? I think the pats have the rights to butler for another week...
It’s past the trade deadline, can’t. The Alex Smith trade is completed at the start of the league year that begins with free agency.

Just need a QB and they are good to go.

I don't think that Sherman is medically cleared enough to be released. I guess you can trade for a guy that's injured but who would want that contract? I'm confused???

Well, its basically guaranteed that Sherman is on his way out of Seattle - whether that be released or traded, considering that his mother tweeted about it. The question is that if we were to trade for Sherman, would it come with terms of a contract restructure (Sherman represents himself, so I would assume that there could be some wheeling).

What's he worth at this point? He's gonna be 30 coming off an Achilles injury.

Nobody in their right mind will trade for that contract when the player wont even be able to start running until around OTAs.

Unless the 49ers or Browns just want to stockpile talent with all the cap space they have.

He's coming to the Pats I just hope Rowe isn't involved in the trade but that or Cyrus Jones getting a change of scenery wouldn't shock me .
Depends on what we give up. The only corners I would prefer not to trade are Gilmore and JJones.

yes you do, unless they release him with an injury settlement.

The Seahawks most probably told him he will be released as soon as he can pass a physical. I guess it is in Shermans interest to be released sooner than later before the FA money dries up so I suppose it is doubtful he would file a grievance.

See if this works:

Didn't work. It was a Facebook post about RS being a member of the NE Patriots. Said it was no longer a post. Whatever that means..........

I hope he signs here just so we can see the heads of some of the guys that criticized him so harshly after the 2013 NFCCG explode.

I want him but not at 11 million a year. Talib would probably be cheaper.
