Report: Talib, Sherman 'have their eye on Patriots'

Butler was our worst CB in 2017. Remember when BB benched Arrington in SB 49? Where was the outrage?

Horrible post
Benching Arrington showed they realized he was getting burned and adjusted.
Whereas in the last Super Bowl they refused to bench Richards or Rowe or Bademosi. Using your same analogy they should have reinserted Butler in the game as a half time adjustment

This thread title bugs me. Is there any actual truth to these claims? Or is it all speculation at this point?

I'd take which ever guy comes cheapest in terms of draft picks and salary. We need to beef up the front 7 this off season, that will probaby be the focus.

It’s all fanboy speculation

If you add a solid number two(either Talib, Sherman or someone else) put Rowe in as the number 3 corner then we have Jones, Cyrus and probably a high draft pick competing for the 4-5 cb position and that's not a bad group.

I agree

I would say that J Jones would be consider the #3. He'll be ready. after going IR with a broken foot.

Gilmore, new #2, Rowe, J Jones

with C Jones and whoever competing for the #5 CB, which is primarily a ST position

Talib Sherman or I read a rumor about the honey badger who would give the defense a shot of much needed swagger and nastiness.

Both over the hill.

Better a year early...

Fingers crossed...

A friend of mine took this picture at Logan this morning....

Just my honest opinion, but based on the reports I think both Sherman & Talib may be “in a race” to be cut/released by their respective teams in order to come here. What we do know, is that both CBs would like to play for NE. They are well aware that if one gets scooped up by NE, it’s pretty much “night-night” for the other CB. Just a theory I have.
