Maybe Edelman will come back at something near his former self, and maybe he won't.

I'll be surprised if Edelman 2018 is any better or more productive than Wes Welker 2010...still good, but nowhere near his former self...

U see any of his recent workout videos, i don't expect a drop off and might sound crazy but he might be even better

I think the drop-off in stats was due to having longer third down and distance and the fact that Brady threw (way) down field a lot more this past season. Not having JE11 was definitely a factor, no question and didn't need mentioning. Like we didn't notice?

Welker tore his ACL in January. Edelman tore his his ACL in August. Edelman will have 4+ months more of recovery time.

Welker was clearly better in the 2nd half of 2010 than the 1st half.

don't need a spark on offense..we need a defense that can make 1 stop in the second half of a SB. Is that asking too much?

Not expecting anything from Edelman, but that being said...he would be a BONUS big time if he's the same player (I think so though).

In recent years, we have become more of a vertical offense...and expect that to continue with us having Dorset, Cooks, and Hogan. Ditto with Mitchell/Britt giving us big bodies on the perimeter.

Edelman and Dola ....we need one of them at least though....
