Daddy Kraft? Denied by Kraft.

We have no idea if Kraft wants to marry this girl.

With that said when it comes to estate, trusts and entitlements, marriage is a factor but not the determining one.
Marriage is a factor. Wills are a factor. Family and next of kin are factors. But being a girlfriend is not a factor.
Its all based on what is in the will and in the trust which is why the sons had it amended.
There would be no need to have it amended if all they wanted to do was keep her out. She is not his wife (common law or otherwise) and, according to Mr. Kraft's official statement, the child is not his. She has no legal bearing whatsoever to, as you put it, "pull an Anna Nicole Smith."

Being a girlfriend gives no legal rights whatsoever to claim someone's inheritance, nor would it afford "next of kin" status if there was no will. The only reason to amend the trust is if they want to put her in it. There is no reason to amend it to keep her out since she already has no legal standing at all.

We don't know the situation. Reports say it's biologically not his. I'm going by that.
If I may add to the above: It isn't a "report" that says the child is not his, it is an official statement from an official spokesperson. So what we have is something far more substantial than one of Ron Borges' "sources."

Now we understand why Kraft forced Belichick to trade Jimmy G!

Or is it, now we know the real reason Malcolm Butler was benched!

Lol I read this and pictured the scene from Life where the warden brings the daughter and baby around to compare looks with inmates!

I never stated being a GF was a factor.

The sons had the trust amended. That is a fact.

You seem wrapped around the axle on this matter.

Barstool Sports

Love Thornton's take on this, especially the Jon Snow reference. It's a little heavy on the ball washing, tho.

If true good luck to them and the baby.

I don't care.

Tell me what's going on with the Patriots

Good lord. Getting your GF pregnant is supposed to happen in high school, not the retirement home. LOL on the denial. If not you (Bob), then who?

Do we know if she got knocked up or could it be possibly IVF with Kraft's emotional and/or financial support? Just because he's not the biological, doesn't mean she was knocked up. Has TMZ or anyone posted the birth certificate?

.
It's not so cut and dry. In some Community Property states like California, it does matter. Lee MArvin was sued by his live-in girlfriend of several years Michelle Triola (?sp) and courts gave her rights to his property under "palimony". Read up on Marvin v Marvin for the specifics but in that case and in California, being a girlfriend means having rights...

After looking at the statement, I have come to the conclusion that she wanted a kid, he didn't, and she probably went through a sperm bank and had her own kid, with his blessing. No big deal.

I get the feeling this is the case as well.

To me, why use the adjective biological? That leaves open the possibility of being an adoptive parent. Something smells to me with that statement.

If true, that's kind of a selfish thing to do, don't you think? Creating a kid for self-gratification? She should've split with Bob, found someone to fall in love with, get married and raise a family. Or she could've adopted a child; Bob surely could've helped with connections for that.

Nothing will convince me that any dude *****ing about this isn't just simply jealous.

Only because he has the money to afford a Nanny lol... i would not be jealous of having to raise a newborn at his age, that would be brutal if you were fully plugged in

The problem is at age 39, you probably don't have time to do all that, and maybe she's happy with Bob and felt she could provide a nice life for a kid, whether Bob is in the picture or not (but presumably he plans to be). Giving birth yourself or adopting is basically the same thing in this equation. As someone who had trouble becoming a mom, I can tell you that it can become an all-consuming, gut-wrenching mission (obsession seems like too strong a word, but only just). You watch all your friends and relatives having the one thing you really want, and you feel time ticking away...

The traditional American family is dead to millions of people.

Women want kids AND a career AND not being bogged down with a relationship commitment.
