Josh still won't go to Indy

Well, offensive "needs" this draft are probably down to OT (Scar's department) and QB. I'm guessing that the Pats will manage their public contacts with QB prospects very strategically, probably showing more public interest in guys they likely have no chance at (Darnold, Rosen, Mayfield) or are merely evaluating for due diligence, and that the guys they're really interested in they'll appear to have no interest in at all.

Hopefully Belichick reads a few expert draft reports before he goes for a 2nd round reach again.

BB to scouts: "Yeah so just throw away half of your work cause we're only bringing defensive coaches to something that is more of a media event than anything."

Interesting how one of the reasons McDaniels came back was supposedly because Belichick said he'd teach him more about team building. And then the first thing that happens is that BB leaves him behind at the combine!

This is odd to me. Wasn’t BB going to open his world to Josh? Maybe the succession involves Caserio doing the player acquisition and Josh running said players, but otherwise this makes little sense.

I hate that we're in the part of the offseason where Josh not going to the combine is news.

And we didn't even with the Super Bowl.

Funny, but there might be some truth to him not wanting to be around a bunch of NFL coaches, and the Indy staff, after ditching them at the last minute.

Sounds like some bad blood between the two. I fear McDaniels has fallen out of favor with BB.
