Supposedly the Pats made him a generous offer
How dare you raise your internet voice about Bill Belichick, after all he's done for you! *sob*I don't think there's any way BB wanted him back anyway. That's another reason the refusal to play him in the SB is so maddening. He's out of here anyway. Whatever you don't like about him or his game, you'll never have to see him again. So try to win the game! GRRRR.
As a wise one once said "If you have to ask, you'll never know."We’re not ever going to know.
The reason I think there’s something important we don’t know is because of this.
They refused to adjust and use butler. This makes no sense with the info we have. Now, this idea that the game plan was set and the players used were the best idea to win stuff refused to balance in my mind. If there is no info out there then I have to feel the game was intentionally thrown. That does not compute at all
You saw losing/"didn't care" body language in Brady? Hell no.
I saw something wrong. Someone here pointed out that his body language didn't look good, at all.
I haven't seen Bedard's article, since I never signed up for the site. So, I really can't tell you what he's thinking, sorry.
Nothing's working and he decides to just sit him. Butler's capable of making a big play at any moment. You don't think butler on agholor would have helped? All they needed was a couple of stops in the second half. It's an asinine move. Rowe over butler as the second corner's not a smart move.
Not too often which is why I said his words not mine, but will be interesting to see what he eventually gets and wonder if they could have worked out something here..When is the last time the Patriots made a generous offer to a player already on the roster? For purposes of the question, ignore the JAG scenario.
Doesn't seem like they adjusted much in the Super Bowl
They did offensively
Supposedly the Pats made him a generous offer, this is the writers words, not mine, and butler thought he should get more. I forget now who said that the other day, might have been holly but not 100% sure. Id like to know how much it was and how much he ultimately ends up getting.

That’s the crazy thing too. Butler would have made a couple passes be incomplete you’d think. Even if he broke up two passes more than what happened. Pats win that game
did you read that rowe had a good game and allowed like 14 yards receiving after his tight coverage on that jeffery td and that seed by foles?
you need to get 2015/2016 butler out of your head
he would have gotten eaten alive unless he was put on torrey smith. we needed to solve the eventual agoholor problem.
You have to have your head up your ass if you believe butler would not have done a better job on Agholor than Chung/bademosi
This is not about Butler or what he could have done but about what actually happened.
