Anyone else feel this way? With josh coming back, that must mean the gang is gearing up for another crack at it. Coaching stability is big. There was a huge drop off from 04-05 with both coordinators leaving. Now we don’t have to deal with that.

I feel the team is in better position then last season to contend. I felt Matt Patricia was the weak link. I read a stat that in each Super Bowl he coached his defense allowed almost 26 points a game and some crazy number of yardage in the 400 yards a game range.

The Patriots won despite him. They were ok vs. the Seahawks but it took a player to suggest the defense put someone else on wide receiver Mathews.

I won't miss him and glad he's gone.

Yep the defense was our Achilles heel but it didn’t come back to bite us until the super bowl. The bizarre decision to bench Butler the whole game likely cost us the 6th Lombardi

Defense had been a strength since game 5 or so. The Iggles defense was also a strength for them, going into the game, as everybody knows.

Puzzled by the benching, but an "Achilles Heel" seems like something a little different from the scheme/performance in the single (albeit singularly important) appearance in the SB.

I’m in.

It's Not About Us!

Isn't Krafty just great? I love that man. Got Tom's all-time favorite OC back AND screwed the Colts in the process. Two birds, one stone.

Doesn't help much, but if part of it was designed to screw the Colts as revenge for DeflateGate, then that makes me happy!

Wish I knew some Colts fans I can make fun of.

Doesn't take away the sting at all. But it gives me hope moving forward in both the short and long term.

The only part of this that isnt enjoyable is the fact that the pats are stuck with josh’s playcalling for at least another year..

I was more concerned with McDaniels pilfering the rest of the Pats staff to fill out his own. Flores, Jerry Schuplinski and Joe Judge are now probably staying put as well

We were 5 minutes and 32 seconds away from winning a Super Bowl. One stop on a 4-th down.

We were down 5 with 2:15 and a 2-nd and 2 from the 32 yard line. With the GOAT having to do a 2 minute drill.

It took overcoming a dozen injuries, beating Pittsburgh in a magnificent way to take home field, it took a Titans upset to have a far easier divisional opponent, it took an incredible comeback against the Jags, a million injuries that weakened potential opponents and finally a team with a back up QB in the Super Bowl.

Josh staying or going doesnt change any of it nor does it make it easier at all.

Perhaps i’m too emotionally invested but this still hurts like hell and I can’t get over it. Felt the same in 2007 and 2011...nothing hurts like losing a Super Bowl. I got over the Broncos loss two years ago by the morning. But it’ll probably take weeks to get over such a missed opportunity. One freakin stop from equaling the Steelers for the most Super Bowls ever. A second repeat. First team to win 3 out of 4 twice. Brady becoming the first player to win 6 rings. Belichick becoming the first person to win 8.... God damnit.:(:(

Color me not happy about this. I was among the few excited to see him and Patricia go. I don't trust him. Maybe I am being paranoid. But this doesn't make me happy at all.
