lol at colts signing ass. coaches before josh signed a contract

Colts fans demanding the NFL get involved. They want compensation from the Patriots now HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

McDaniels play calling in the first quarter and half is a top 3 reason we lost that Superbowl.

I was so happy to see him go

This upsets me

LMAO that was the reason we lost? I'll list you the reasons we lost;

1. Belichick benching Butler
2. The defensive coaching
3. The defensive execution.

McDaniels and Brady made that's Eagles defense look like a joke. Just not as much of a joke as ours.

Guys, guys.. Josh and the Colts provided this board a moment akin to make-up sex after a lot of infighting since Sunday. Dont ruin the glow of it.. at least not in here.. go into that Megathread to do that please.. :D

I agree. But potentially a lawsuit that the Colts were damaged, and the team has hired assistants that are for and from Josh. I could see the league being bastards.

I suppose the NFL would have to hold them self and their rules regarding hiring talent from Superbowl and playoff teams then.

Not hold Josh or the pats accountable for following those rules

The colts shouldnt have announced this until the contract was signed especially after hearing rumors last week that he is having second thoughts.

Colts were forcing McDaniels to honor his word by publically announcing him as new HC.

Colts - Patriots (Hatfield - McCoy) feud has just re-started in a BIG way..

LMAO just like Zachary K Hubbard said.

NCAA rigged for Saban to win 6 in Atlanta this past season when he was 66.

Bill will win 6 in Atlanta this year when he is 66, by beating the 49ers or Giants.

Then retires since it's the last year of his contract. This move just proves it

WOW.

Two quick thoughts that occur to me....

1) I believe McDaniels has been given strong assurances (probably contractual ones) that he will be the next HC of the NEP. Because this move has blown up any chance of any non-NE team hiring him as HC. If he wants to be HC it's now NE or nothing. So for him to back out at the last second means he's been promised the job.
2) Since I also don't think McDaniels is going to want to wait around to be HC (why bother agreeing to take the Indy job), I also believe this signals loud and clear that Belichick is a short-timer. I now think Belichick is going to resign either at the end of the 2018 season or in a stunner within the next two weeks.
they said on NFL network they thing it is either now or after 2018 season.

Idk about this. Belichick stepping down in the not too distant future?

If not too distant is by age 70 and about 3 years, sure. Now let’s go win a couple more and bury goodell.

All loser pats fans only obsessed with brady, can now leave pur fanbase for the real diehards.

Is there a possibility that the nfl could screw us over?

If it's between him and McDaniels? - ABSOLUTELY
Ha. Based on what?

I mean, I respect your opinion, but why are you so sure that McD (with past HC history and multiple stops/more experience) would be overlooked for freaking Matt Patricia, lol?

You’re acting as if though this wouldn’t even be a debate.

Haha I love it. Big FU to the Colts and I feel much better about next year. I trust josh with the offense.it works out because we can hire a DC who won’t give up chunk plays in every game. It happened in tons of games this year but brady bailed them out. It just came back to bite them in the super bowl

In honor of what has to be the mood in Colts land, I'm listening to some Rammstein.

Between Luck's attempts to heal his should and Irsay's, well, being Irsay, European death metal just seems appropriate.

I suppose the NFL would have to hold them self and their rules regarding hiring talent from Superbowl and playoff teams then.

Not hold Josh or the pats accountable for following those rules
it could legal system in courts, but then it would just be monetary damages I think.

kind of unprofessional from McDaniels, but who cares it's the Colts. I wouldn't be shocked if he's the HC next year for us

Mortensen is reporting JM hired 11 of 12 assistants before backing out of the deal.

People are laughing at this but here is nothing funny about it. These other coaches didn't do anything to deserve this. They may have left other jobs or opportunities on the table to go with Josh and he leaves them hanging out to dry.

I fear the Colts may have a case and the NFL does hate us. Apparently some of the coaches that Josh brought in to Indy have signed deals.. they will be there or get paid. I hope Kraft knows what he is doing because Josh worth 1st round draft picks. We need talent badly.
No one has signed a deal there. Sorry to spoil your party.
