Malcolm Butler Mega Thread

Make him Inactive for which secondary body? Name the PS player and explain why they are a better CB option than Butler.

Again he handled it pretty badly. At the last minute. Why not tell butler in his face the day before the super bowl. It even surprised Rowe. That must have thrown the defense off.

Lol comparing the giants defense that year to the eagles this season. The eagles defense was overhyped.

I agree, but they still had a good pass rush. Can't dispute that. Brady and the quick release and the West Coast style routes, are quick elixir for that, as predicted.

We didn't run enough West Coast stuff in 2007. We could have, but we didn't. We weren't quite built that way, but by Week 6 Brady was busy mainly starting down MOss/Welker and everyone knew it.

Butler and Richards don't play the same position.

Richards is not the choice there, but Bademosi, with more size than Butler, would be. So, I disgree with Richards as the choice. I have actually stated on here, that I think since Bademosi is such a good tackler (yes, I know he whiffed on 3rd, but so do a LOT OF CBs on Agoholor, which is why I wanted Gilmore hammering him in man at the line), and some size.

Richards is small, can only play downhill, has no lateral ability and zero range. Bademosi at least has size, some speed, and range.

Bademosi's skill set is far close to Chung's than what Butler does.

Bademosi is what he is. There's a reason why he hasn't been a starter.

Yes, but the offense lost SBs42 and 46. Imagine if Brady played like that in those SBs, instead of no points barely any for full halves?

Brady had a high ankle sprain the week before the first loss and had a separated shoulder in the 2nd half when leading the other lost SB. '

Are you serious? Clueless? we'd love to know.

Your BB ball washing funny.

Maybe the decision hadn't been made yet?

Who cares? You shut your mouth and wait your turn to play. Period.

Since when if we have large CBs to match up in man, do we start a dwarf in man?

If we did start Butler, say on jeffery, Harmon would need to be over the top. And, then you're exposing Rowe in single man to Smith's speed and Gilmore would be on Agoholor.

Regardless, BB erred in not assigning permanent deep help on Jeffery. I have no idea why, unless Harmon screwed up, which I am doubting.

I'm sure any response will be the canned, "We did what we felt was right for the team, blah blah blah."

Balls in your court Belichick.

This should be its own post so some or our so called fans who have been trashing him the past 2 days can't over look it.

As I have been saying ad nauseam it was never disciplinarian it was the game plan and a poor one and Bill just screwed up. Exactly as Bill said but some people refuse to believe the words out of their own coaches mouth and instead think they know more than he's telling them.

Wow, well there goes all the ******** about curfews and pot smoking. Strictly a football decision, where at no time in the game BB/Patricia thought that Butler could help stop an Eagles team that was driving down field on EVERY drive.

Absolutely boggles the mind.

****ing crazy right.

Where is ivan to talk about how Butler most of punched a coach?

In Bill we trust, even when we have to become a pretzel to defend him.

Malcolm Butler and Malcolm Butler Alone cost them the Super Bowl.

Lol Jesus some of you guys...just...I have no words. How the hell do you even say this with a straight face after that statement?

Ohh, poor baby. High ankle sprain (lie) ,which means we have him drop back and throw 55 times when all other teams would protect their QB, run a lot, get to playaction to help him out and stave off the pass rush.

Fact: Brady may have had a slight ankle sprain, but you don't show no signs of limping with a high ankle sprain and look just fine. He was also absolutely awful in the 2007 title game throwing way too much. All hail Laura Maroney (22 carries, 122 yards) and the O Line in that 4th qtr, and to Joshy, who thankfully didn't wait any longer to bail Brady out.

Nice Brady Ballwashing. Do you have 7 nights worth of Brady footie pajamas in that closet with the 5th place trophies, too?

I never said Butler almost punched a coach, I said a poster said it wouldn’t matter to them if he had. I know you can’t read but you can still ask someone to do it for you.

He still is looking for that big payday, isn't he?

I wonder if his new agent with an Associate's Degree from Biloxi Community College told him to write that?
