Why am I so nervous?

Ive seen 5 rings in my life from the Pats. That’s more then any other fan can say. Pats can’t win every year, so why am I nervous about tomorrow’s game? Even if they lose...so? TB12 is already the greatest QB in NFL History. Sb49 establishes that and SB51 was basically saying a reminder that TB12 Is the best QB.

I guess maybe because I’m just so tired of the Patriots haters. It gets annoying. Everywhere I go...,always some moron. And Brady is winning the MVP. There’s that MVP curse that we witnessed in 2007 and 2011 :/

Eagles have a great defensive front...the Giants did too. That’s what can get to TB12

I’m nervous as hell too. I don’t understand how anyone can be a big fan but be all “oh they’ve already won 5, anything more would be just gravy so I won’t be sad if they lose.” That’s dumb.

Patriots have really handled “great defensive fronts” the past 2 years, especially late in games. If we stop their running game and secure the ball, we will be fine.

It's the freaking Super Bowl. If you're not nervous about the SB what's the point of even watching sports.

Brady wasn’t involved in any MVP “curse” in the 2011 loss to the NYG. He won it in 2007 and 2010.

i know the patas will bring their A game, they match up well and they have the horses to execute what they need to do

philly is very deliberate with how they play, and truthfully, they are built in a traditional:

1. good, run stopping-based front with pass rush infusion on passing downs...

2. rpo based gimmick offense where the run game is critically tied to it

so, if i know this, you know it, well know it and bb knows it, these guys will know what to do to offset and attack

if pats use gronk to max protect, especially early, that will help allerviate the rush and get time for longer routes, lots of gos, out and up type stuff with the check downs to the backs

on d, just contain the run, do not take the rpo cheese and the front needs to attack the qb with guys like chung and flowers trying to remove foles’s 1st read, which is ertz and then a clement swing pass threat..flowers on clement on 3rds...

rowe on jeffery with deep help from harmon for bracketing deep
butler on torrey smith

mccourty can be moved all around as per usual

do not give away your true desires offensively early on...have a real pass heavy gameplan with playaction, but unleash hell in the second half

Honestly win or lose I just need this game to be over. I don’t do well during a Patriots SB week. I’ll be bummed if they lose but I’ll get over it.

I see the similarities between Philly and 2007 Giants. Dominant Dline with an inconsistent QB that when he is having a good day can do enough to help his squad win.

That being said last year’s SB made it very clear about the folly of underestimating TB12 and Bill. I firmly believe that the game boils down to the Philly Dline vs our Oline. 2007 Gints were relentless and Philly has to do the same although an older and wiser TB12 will cope better as seen last year.

I’ll be sour with a loss but will get over it, can’t be disappointed at all with the Pats’ run. Prediction:

To be fair there are Niners & Cowboys fans that can say they've seen 5 rings in their life and Steelers fans that can say they've seen more. Which is why they are nervous and what drives no small amount of the trolling. Relax and embrace the hate because the sad fact of the matter is that's what passes for respect in whiny azz 2018. After all, nobody hates on the Brownies.

You are not playing!!!! They have won 5 SB, they are the gold standard. Relax and enjoy the game, cuz they have already won. So much so that america hates them, victory has already been secured in some capacity. Oh and the Eagles, their gonna beat them like a rented mule.....

Yeah if they lose this game they may never recover and end up being real bad in 2018.

im cautiously optimistic. There is a "chance" they lose. But put away all the media hype about the "scary eagles"

and its Bill Belichick and Tom Brady vs. a backup QB, new coach and a defense that struggles vs. RB's/TE's in the passing game.

Embrace the success. You have the opportunity to watch the team you identify with and are at some level invested in compete for a championship.

Competition is what life is about, it’s excitement and it’s the lifeblood of achievement.

Who cares about the haters? The more we win the more they hate and the more they are wrong.

Enjoy the competition.
I would rather compete for a championship and lose than to not have the thrill of competition, vicariously in this case.


Don’t be nervous be excited that the team you are invested in is going to compete to be the best and enjoy the ride. This game should be fun, not nerve wracking.

How were the eagles shafted?

I usually don’t get nervous until around game time. That being said, I do feel a bit at ease about this particular matchup. Especially in regards to greater teams we have faced in years past.

I'm not nervous right now. Probably will be at the start of the game.
