No rules. Predict as much as you want (score, stats, big players, mvp etc) or just a score or your thoughts.

Clearly I’m picking the patriots.

I seeit like this. I give the pats 27 as a starting point. If they are playing from ahead and it’s something like 27-13 late then they play slow and end up with 27 or add a fg. If it’s close and they need more like philly scores to go ahead 30-27, brady won’t be stopped.
In other words philly has to score 28 to win, but if they leave brady time after getting to 28 it still won’t be enough.

I can see this gane going many ways. I could see the patriots being comfortable in control all day or I can see a back and forth close game, or I can see the patriots falling behind and Brady putting them on his shoulders.

My guess is the pats actually get out to an early lead, say 14-0 are up 20-7 at half. 27-10 end of 3rd and 30-17 final.

Patriots 27
Eagles 17

Pats 27
Philly 24

Some depth WRs from both sides (Agholor and Dorsett) will get some yards.

Lots of field goals, and at least one missed kick.

For some reason, I'm having visions of Blount and Ertz scoring touchdowns for Philly.

Perhaps a Dwayne Allen touchdown?

I'm never optimistic about games (or life), but i dont know man

Im feeling like this will be our easiest SB. Big lead first, never looking back

I predict the Patriots will mercifully put up two scores in the 1st quarter and keep the Eagles safely in the rear view so that we can eat and drink comfortbly for three or four hours, for a friggin' change!

I'm picking the Patriots. I think it will be a high scoring game.

I predict the Pats will have a TD either by special teams or defence.

Foles will throw deep often and while he might have some long passes I think many balls will be battered away and perhaps one will even be intercepted.

The Patriots will probably fail to rush Foles as their O-Line will keep him clean.

The Patriots should be able to keep the Eagles rushing attack from gashing us too badly. Minimising Ertz will likely be the game plan. I wonder if the plan is to put Chung on him or if it will be a tall CB like Rowe? I'd imagine Jeffrey will be guarded by Gilmore. Butler will probably take Nelson Agholor.

The Eagles rush will put pressure on Brady and members of their D-Line may have strong games but I think Brady will work out the pattern and calls and we will be able to score many points. My concern is if the Eagles are able to take away the short passing game of Brady.

To counter this I think the key to a Pats win will be playing fast and perhaps going no huddle often. This should exhaust the Eagles D and allow us to put up a lot of points quickly.

I'd love it for Gronk to have a Monster game, he is the biggest game changer not playing QB. I'm going to predict Phil Dorsett has a huge play (might seem unlikely). Hogan will probably have a big game.

I think the Pats super bowl experience is really going to help especially with many players knowing they came back from 28-3 last year in the big game.

This will be an end of an era game with both co-ordinators departing.

MVP: Gronk if he has a big game. Trey Flowers if our defence ends up winning it for us. But in all likelihood it will be another MVP for Brady.

p.s Slightly worried I'm not even considering an Eagles victory but in the end I think the QB position is so vital and I don't see Foles having enough.

Defense still wins championship And our defense has to do a better job on 3rd downs. They started off awful against the jags and improved in the second half.

Patriots 24
Eagles 17

Eagles are up 17-10 going into the 4th.

I predict I'll make my doctor another couple thousand dollars in stress tests.

I predict that although the scores may look close, the Pats will be in control throughout for a comfortable victory. The Eagles will come out with a lot of aggression but in the end won’t know what hit them.
