I think the MJ thing is too tough a comparison to make - his whole Bulls career was 4 years shorter than where TB is at right now. He won 6 in 8 years...that’s like if TB won #6 in 2008 and went away. I think the length of time the run continues for matters. Also MJ always had a keen eye for his public image, but it would have been impossible for him to live as he did in today’s media/social media ecosystem. He lived under the greatest microscope ever for a guy in his era, but he lived like a mother****er and had plenty of people ready to protect him, and no one with cell phone cameras to stop him. Except maybe those mob guys that got him suspended.

Occasionally I troll PFT when Manning is canonized in an article and post that I'm still waiting for the Peyton Manning HGH investigation.

This is more or less the hope Brady is another Lance Armstrong. Undo everything the team and he have accomplished with one big reveal.

Unfortunately he doesn't look like Barry Bonds (in person, he looks tall and thin) and doesn't flash the speed and endurance necessary to win a world title in a race.

What he does do well is use natural arm strength with accuracy and timing - the product of practice and self-analysis - and field awareness - natural ability and study. Add to this a competitive fire that few would ever know and you have Brady as he is on the field.

None of what makes him great would really be helped by HGH or steroids (they don't stop your throwing arm from falling off when tendonitis and arthritis kick in). But let them keep hoping there is a reason other than the team doesn't do all is necessary to win that explains decades looking up at the Pats and Brady.

Folks are avoiding the elephant in the room.
One thing about Brady that is significantly different is that he sleeps with a supermodel. This could be the key.

As a science person I propose a controlled experiment where I sacrifice my body to sleep with Gisele while the control group of other Patsfans posters sleep with extremely unattractive females (of the same species, of course) and we compare results after a couple years.
