The Official Laugh at the Steelers Thread

I just wanted to add that any Steelers fan whining about the refs favoring anybody have quite the balls.

Does anyone remember the calls for Pitt and against Seattle in Ben Ringburglar's first SB?

THAT was a travesty.

And this thread had bumped to the 2nd page. Not acceptable. The laughter must continue. Steelers :D

Close call between 1972 USSR Olympic Basketball and 2005 Steelers as fixed championship games go.

Iron city beer sucks. However prmani brother sandwich is about the best I've had anywhere. No excuse at all. Your coaching staff sucks, and you wish to blame referees, and a conspiracy. You suck if you can't get a coaching staff, all yours to blame. N att

IC beer is aight...nothing that special, and I am forced to agree about Primanti Bros.

I like how some of those Steeler fans think that we've never suffered from a losing season before.

When the day comes and Belichick and Brady retire and that team goes on a downward spiral and their fans have deal with losing seasons I'm going to love it

Most of them are too young to remember that we used to suck. We know far more about misery than they ever could...if ever there was an entitled fanbase, it's theirs. I'm convinced most of them think the Steelers are the kings of the NFL.

Maybe they are with those six rings...but you know, historically, New England hasn't taken well to being ruled by kings.

The same people that clap when the NFL slaps us with huge undeserved penalties turns and says they are fixing it for us...lulz

Well, they do have at least a bit of a point. The Patriots haven't had a losing season since 2000. So there's a fair chunk of the New England population that's never seen one.

Absolutely ... I remember the infamous Monday Night Football game that was a logistical disaster - so happy they were on TV that game.

Also there was a game or two where the last few thousand seats were purchased to lift the local TV blackout - total elation.
If you lived outside the viewing area you could watch the Patriots more than we could - those inside the blackout circle.

I don't rate fans better or worse - loyal or bandwagon, just saying some of us maybe we appreciate it a bit more due to a long fan history.
Wishing for losses the season before drafting Bledsoe ... still remember it so well - rabid Bledsoe or Mirer debate ensued.
Being able to watch them every game locally - well that was almost as good as making playoffs.

We had forum members here @1999-2000 who watched the Patriots play at Nickerson Field, Fenway Park, Harvard and Alumni Stadium ... maybe we still do - might make for a good thread.

That sucks...

Growing up in Virginia, we didn't get the Pats much. Until Parcells came along, just about the only time I saw the Pats on TV was when I was playing Madden 93. :(

Pretty sure I remember @Jackson 2 talking about some memories at Nickerson. Wondering about others such as @Tunescribe and maybe even @Joker, although I’m guessing the latter may have missed the cutoff point for that by a few years.

According to these sage experts, we're a c*cky, classless, arrogant fan base that will evaporate once BB/Brady are gone. Interesting -- I didn't know that!

What gets me is that they call us classless, but werent they the ones wishing injury on Brady and didnt they make shirts when Brady was injured? Or did Jete make the shirts? Either way, I have never asked for a defender to injure Ben. THEY are classless.

The Bernard Pollard Fan Club shirt was made immediately after Brady's ACL injury by a Steelers fan. **** that guy. (Am I referring to Pollard or the guy who made the shirt? My answer is this: Why not both?)

Not me, I only go back to old Foxboro Stadium. Joker is older than I am, maybe he has some memories to share. Also possibly PatFanKen.
