Great Win (Obviously)/Fire Romo

I honestly do not know what sort of commentary would be non-biased to some of you people. I'm guessing you're the types who loved listening to Tommy Heinsohn?

Romo openly roots for a good football game because that's what is more appealing to viewers and probably, for him, way more exciting to call.

He had nothing but positives to say about the Pats and I feel sorry for people so thin-skinned they think this dude is rooting against anyone.

Heinsohn was a traitor to Boston. Johnny Most was the only unbiased announcer in this town.

Yes, I always trust people with one word counters, who then run away, with no substance to the counter itself.

lol

I've forgotten more about football then you'll ever know. Sorry.

By rule, a fumble is when the player loses control off the ball, which only happened after Lewis's hip/butt was down.

This is a fact, it;s not an opinion.

Well, you need some help then. Did you hate Madden and other knowledgeable commentators who showed no bias from decades gone by?

What a little weasley little turd he is.
The guy who used to gush about Brett Favre for 58 out of 60 minutes?

Actually he practically worships Brady during games. You are ridiculously off the mark.

Yet, he roots for BB's D to lose, and over-exagerrates the opponents' offense and progress during the game, just openly rooting for all to go well with dramatic "ooohs and ahhhs" to threaten doom for NE. He's annoying as hell.

It was 14-10 at half and he already had Gronk out for the second half, giddy beyond belief.

This topic is awesome. When I was watching the game today, Romo said something, and I immediately thought of the creator of this topic. iirc he was the same guy complaining last week about Romo.

Anyway, the Pats were down 10 points in the 4th quarter. The Pats got he ball back, and on one of the first plays of the drive, Brady completed like 15-yard pass to Cooks. Romo said something like, "hold on, folks, this game's not over yet -- we're watching the GOAT here, the best to ever play the game." I instantly thought of the topic creator -- the irrationally insecure guy that thinks Romo "hates" the Patriots. Why on earth would a guy that "hates" the Patriots use casual (and effusively positive) vocabulary to describe Tom Brady if he allegedly hates the Pats?

I honestly feel sorry for you Chris Stevenson. I hope to god you're a troll, because if you're honestly this thin-skinned you have some serious issues.

All the refs lied about the fumble too. Conspiracy!

Which refs lied? They missed the call on the field, obviously so, yes. Just like Faulk's 4th and 2 in 2009 in Indy, not knowing what forward progress means and when final possession happened.

The ground cannot cause a fumble. Lewis was down.

No, but he works for CBS, and the pattern is there. How about Kraft call up Moonves and tell him to knock it off?

Hint: watch the game with the sound off and with it on, and you'll have a completely different experience. That is how you know what I am saying is true.

A loudmouth, smirky pretty boy doesn't have talent in the booth just because he was put there.

CBS desperate.

Bring back Phil Simms! That's how bad Romo is.

So Kraft and the head[?} of CBS are also part of the conspiracy?

Complaining about refs and saying "the announcers were totally against us" - really cliche and meaningless tropes.

Yes, god forbid a multi billion dollar operation has a first class operation. Just the worst idea ever.

How about announcers learning the rules? Dan Fouts and Romo still think Sefarian Jenkins and Jesse James had TDs without fully controlling the ball.

LOL

They called it, right? When it was obvious he had possession when down? Or is it possible it was your opinion he had possession without the ball moving. Your opinion and you were wrong? I don't see people climbing over each other to start threads or complain about this call, so maybe it's only your opinion.

He was wiping his thigh with the moving ball. The ground had nothing to do with it.

Fire dan fouts.

Romo is nowhere near as bad as fouts

He was desperately pinning it to his thigh with one hand while falling with a defender jabbing at him and eventually taking the ball. Apparently, the rest of the world who thought it was moving or weren't sure, are wrong and you are right that there is no possibility he didn't have control.

This thread man sigh.....Pats goin to super bowl and this thread man.....Cmoooooon Man!!!

I was about to post the same exact thing. The Pats just won another thrilling come from behind game to secure their 10th (!) Super Bowl appearance, and we have fans who apparently are going to lose sleep tonight because they didn't like the color commentator during the game???

Wow. Just....wow

So, you are forced to listen to music or the sound completely off. Ok, fine. Some of us want to hear the sound effects and he just takes a massive dump on the microphone as he roots for the Pats opponent in this obvious, creepy fashion. I've never seen anything like it in any sport, save for Tim McCarver and his ridiculous Yankees bias, which all Sox fans know to be true.

Agendas are very easily seen if you know where the agenda comes from.

You're clearly trolling if you think Romo is more biased that Fouts.
