Eh, rather they rally around his recovery than getting the rapist one last ring.

that I am beyond sick of hearing about Ryan Shazier?
Depends on what the context is.

I've been following his improvement so any news about that I'm interested in.

What I couldn't care less about hearing is the whole Squealers 'Winning for Ryan' crap.

this

the guy was hurt on the job, wants to play with his kids again....always hoping for good news

but the rallying around 50 BS has gotten old already

You can feel whatever you want, but if Hightower or someone had been the guy who was in danger of not being able to walk again, I'm sure this board would be rallying around him day and night.

I don't begrudge them at all, and I am usually loathe to give the Steelers any sympathy whatsoever.

Steeler fans probably are not tired of it, and they could care less what Patriots fans think.

Not at all. I concur. Hope he has a swift & successful recovery though.

As much hype positive and negative on this team, no, his issue is much more important and if the Steelers can find motivation from it, great. Imagine how the rest of the league feels when every conversation about the playoffs eventually turns to how they would do against the Pats.

I’d understand if doing so actually made a difference.....it’s not going to help him heal

It’s using someone’s injury to motivate yourself....pretty self serving if you ask me

I just hope he can make something good out of it like someone like Normand Léveillé

Nope.

Shazier brought it on himself by leading with his head, instead of just tackling the guy. Not only is it OK to be sick of it, I have a difficult time mustering any sympathy for the guy - and I think he symbolizes the Steelers better than anyone else. Selfish, out for highlights on ESPN, trying to deliberately injure other players. And his teammates celebrate him. It's all I need to know.

Hightower wouldn't have led with his head, deliberately trying to injure someone.

I don't believe you've ever made a more stupid post, and I certainly hope you never top it.

You're better than this.

He tried to injure someone by leading with his head, and ended up getting paralyzed.

You are welcome to your opinion, and I disagree with it, just like you disagree with mine.

If they want to celebrate (and if you want to as well) a player attempting a dirty hit, and getting hurt himself, that's your business.

You'd call it an unfortunate sad story. I call it karma.
