Thanks for the offer, but I should be sober enough to drive home afterward. ;)
*******! Just when I think you’re a sanctimonious ****. You prove you’re just a ****. (My sisters house is walking distance a-hole ;)

Under Armour Cold Gear 4.0 as a base layer. I've skied in the 2.0 and been uncomfortably hot in pretty cold coditions. I cannot imagine how warm 4.0 must be.

Thanks again, but my wife probably wouldn't approve. ;)

How good are those gortex socks? Do they keep your feet from getting wet, and how's the breath ability? Does your feet sweat a lot?

Depends if I'm using my electric blanket or not.

Much like the OP stated, the older I get (52) the harder it is to attend these cold weather games. Having said that, yes I'll be at the game. It's all about layers, multiple everything, shirts, socks, gloves etc. As someone mentioned up thread, the tailgates aren't bad, we always have a roaring fire pit that keeps us warm (and attracts lots of other people who usually are bearing gifts of food and drinks to stand next to it). At least Sunday will be a day game with sun (it will help a bit, we are high up in the 300s, so the wind is a *****, but the sun makes a difference). I was at the Titans playoff game when the beer taps froze, but the worse games were the ones with snow/rain and cold temps, that's when it really gets bad, at least this game will be dry.

I posted my tix on ticketexchange two days ago. No takers yet. I guess I'm not the only wuss around here.

I am guessing one of the losses was the upset by the jests. What's the other one? I thought it was the ravens in 2012 but it wasn't. It was over 40 in that game. Ok it was the 2009 wildcard game against the ravens. They destroyed us that day.

I absolutely love bone chilling freezing game temperatures. Feels like a battle in the tundra. I'll happily take some tickets off yals hands if it gets too cold for you

257-77 when it snows is insane. Absolutely crazy. Almost + 200 difference. Wow.

And that right there is one of the many reasons why Brady is the GOAT. Dome, field, turf, road, home, rain, snow. Beat up and injuried. Brady is an iron man.

I’m only 42 but I know what you’re going for. I’m on the fence with the “like” but I just listened to “I am Santa Claus” (the Iron Maiden spoof) so I can only give you the smiley.

Now I'm only 42
And all I wanna do
Is Boogaloo
Hey

That's excellent and potentially life-saving advice.

When I lived in New England, I used to love grilling steaks on the patio on cold, snowy nights.

Outside for 10 or 15 minutes, all bundled up? Nothing like a nice Manhattan or neat Bourbon to warm your toes as you enjoy the marvels of gas cooking and appreciate the beauty of the woods in Boston's ex-urbs. You get that nice warm flush described above before you go back inside.

Any longer? Not a good idea.

The first thing I shovel snow off is the grill on my deck. I usually shovel a path so I can move the grill closer to the door also.

To each his own. I GUARANTEE my method works for me. With the rest of the methods I laid out. If a few nips of brandy an hour is dangerous for someone else please be careful.

I haven't touched brandy in many years. Someone in the group I hung with when we were young came up with a drink that we called a zuzu. It was a mix of three different flavored brandies that was disgusting. I can still taste it 40+ years later.

Give me a couple of glasses of a good red wine to go with the perfectly cooked steak off the grill and I'm good.

Cold enough for some serious shrinkage - guys doing an extra jump and jiggle at the urinals.

Gronk missing from practice - think he has the bug.
