Yeah I think a few people are a bit too excited and if this is for the wrong reasons (i.e. expecting Harrison to be a saviour) then this will lead to some interesting threads. I love it on the pure level of badass-ery from BB but have pretty low expectations about contributions.

I agree that BB and MP have to have some role in mind that is more than just 3rd down pass rusher. Cant come up with anything myself but am curious about Chathams speculation.

I find his hatred of Goodell to be strangely intoxicating. Any guy that hates Roger more than the average Patriots' fan can't be that bad.

Just watched coaches film steelers-KC , he dropped into coverage about 4 times, the rest he rushed usually around LT(fisher?) Harrison too fast for him, definitely did better job than Watt. never ran ball to his side (they didn't rush many times while he was on field. Definitely smart player, when in coverage man near him never yac . He played what...580 snaps last year, seems he can play 150 this year no problem,

I mean there has to be a reason that the Steelers didnt play him at all, right ? Apart from all the lol Tomlin memes and jokes he must have lost more than a step to be released unceremoniously around week 16.

well, as long as he wont run right past the running back or quarter back leaving huge lanes open like Roberts he will be a plus

Any truth to the rumor that Tomlin called Goodell and claimed that someone hacked the Steelers' waiver account and that they really didn't want to waive him and want Roger to rescind the whole thing....??

He only needs to make a play or two in the 4th quarter of these playoff games to be worth the pick-up. I think this will work out just fine. Can't believe they let him go.

Steelers board saying it was personal between Tomlin and Harrison,,,,Watt definitely wasn't better in KC game, but Watt probably has a future. Harrison was really pissed he wasn't playing

It's been discussed ad nauseum here in PA. Harrison is a liability in coverage, and Butler wants his guys to play alot of coverage. Dupree, and Watt are the future and getting all the playing time. Harrison was pissed he wasn't playing, and spoke up about it. Maybe it was getting awkward in the locker room. I'm not buying the "guy can't play anymore" crew.

Maybe, maybe even likely, but players also do get released for reasons other than not having any football left in them.
