Colin Cowherd has a theory on Belichick and the QBs

Your link shows nothing, can you summarize?
Colin’s theory about Bill Belichick trading Garoppolo and Brissett (VIDEO)
But now, what is New England's future? They don't have a next quarterback. And so Belichick a year ago-- weren't you and I when they gave away Brissett and Garoppolo going, why so sudden? The hell are you doing? That's so un-Belichick. The guy's drafted a quarterback every year for 15 years. He's overprepared a quarterback-- suddenly, gives them both away. When Bill moves on quickly here, they got no backup plan and a 41-year-old Tommy Brady. Bill knows his legacy. Kraft dinged his legacy because Belichick wanted to prove Tommy's great, I can win with Garoppolo too.

And Kraft got in the way of that. And Bill hold grudges. And Bill's like, all right, I'll retire a few years sooner, move down to Jupiter, Florida full-time and golf, maybe do some front office stuff for the Dolphins, Jags, somebody like that, like Tom Coughlin is doing.

Another day in “As the Patriots Turn”.

One small problem with BB to the Giants - they don’t have a QB (and no, the shell of Eli does not count).

Just trying to stir the pot, like the rest of the media, throwing **** against the wall to see what sticks after an iconic win. I'm surprised folks haven't figured it out yet...been happening since 2007.

You forgot that banning Guerrero from the field (the thing that started this whole charade of buffoonery) is all part of the plan, to make Brady miserable and in turn to punish Kraft.

This whole thing has grown to epic proportions of ridiculousness. Don't take the (click) bait.

I'm going with Guerrero was cyber bullying Alan Branch and then taped his buns together.

BB had to do something

Next up Belichick spikes the Gatorade jug with Ex-Lax.

Another "small problem": the Giants are on the verge of hiring a new GM. My guess is BB wouldn't entertain any coaching job which didn't include the GM position.

Cowherd wrote that BB would never trade Jimmy G to the Browns because he hates the Browns.

Didn't BB just trade Jamie Collins to the Browns last year?

This is clearly all a part of the Jets long-term plan to destroy the Pats from within by planting BB as a mole.

It's nefarious.

Oh ****! I see it now!

Collins hasn't exactly been a formidable presence there.

I hate when people speculate on others' "feelings" as motives for their actions. It's like a bunch of teenage girls, totally alien concept for someone like BB.

My take on this is that the following are true:
  • Brady can still play at an elite level at his age and shows no signs of slowing down
  • Garropolo showed potential of playing above average at the position and is young
  • Holding on to JG was going to break the bank and send the wrong message, paying the backup more than the GOAT starting QB
  • It is unknown how many more years TB12 will play at this level (2,3,4?)
  • JG needs game experience, because he is aging too - that will tell us whether he lives up to the potential
So, based on that we can speculate:
  • Give JG a chance to play on a team that needs him
  • Let TB12 finish his career in NE, makes the fans and the owner happy - a far tale ending for the legend
  • Hope that the end of JG's contract and TB12's career roughly coincide and JG returns to the NEP as a homecoming to take over for TB12
  • If the timing doesn't work out - do you really want to be the guy that follows TB12? But being the guy after that isn't so bad.
It all depends on whether JG would entertain returning to NE. I think he would be welcomed back.

If you don't want to click on the link, the theory is that Bill wanted to move Brady for Jimmy eventually and Kraft said no. Bill got pissed and traded both Jacoby and Jimmy for below value to destroy the Patriots future after he leaves.

Belichick also smashed Edelman's knee just to make us fans sad and ruin the franchise.

He linked to a theory based on nothing, so it's the same.
I agree, although it has been pointed out that BB is not averse to controversially moving on from veterans with something left in the tank. It would've been interesting to see what happened in the coming offseason had JG not been traded.

Belichick cares about legacy, has a mathematical shot at Shulas record and decides to **** over the players and coaches because he's pretty. OK.

Croatians, like most Slavs ~ sorry, Bulgarians!! ~ do tend to be good-looking.

But Belichick as "pretty"?? o_O

May've gone a Bridge Too Far, there, my friend. ;)

BB is really going to go work for the owner that has done as much as he can to do to ruin him through his minion, Goodell. If Wellington Mara was alive, I'd say, Hmmm. John Mara? BB ain't working for that putz.
