Ironically... Since I told everyone at week 2 we already basically had the 2 seed locked.

If the Jags win out, we are either seed 1 or seed 3. We cannot be seed 2 without the Jags losing another game.

Yep and quite frankly this team isn't winning a SB without a bye. Not with the injuries. Too much.

The injuries on D are piling up. This team needs a bye....badly.

There hasn't been many specific reasons given for the Patriots to beat Pittsburgh. It's all been:" Brady owns them". or "Pittsburgh hasn't done it yet". Pundits can't be specific. Whereas there are detailed x's and o's reasons for Pittsburgh winning. That concerns me.

Well we could use the Texans beating the jags early but not holding my breath. Just beat pittsburgh.

This game is huge. That said, would be interesting seeing this team have a tune up game against a wildcard team. But that could mean a playoff run of

Kansas City
Jacksonville
Pittsburgh

Which could be brutal. That said We could also luck out and KC could draw the Steelers and that could be an interesting game.

Pats need to win this game.

So your saying it’s too much to win a home game vs Balt/LA/Buf, beat a bortles led jags team on the road and pittsburgh on the road? Got it

I don’t get the idea that this teame has to have that first round bye to have any shot of a Super Bowl. We just haven’t had many opportunities to accomplish this because we’re usually the 1 or 2 seed. Fact is we should’ve accomplished this in 2006 if we didn’t choke away the 2nd half at Indy. And we went through a very good chargers squad who all around was a much more complete squad than this years jags.

"tune up game" can't be serious. 3 seed and they are done.

If key Defensive players weren't out, and Brady was fully healthy, it wouldn't be such a huge task.

your odds of reaching the Super Bowl get worse by 50% (going from 2 wins to 3 wins is a 50% increase) by playing wild card weekend. Probably worse than that because the "extra game" is a road game.

Who knows on branch at this point, hopefully he’s back come playoff time but we have played without him before in stretches this season. Hopefully brown, butler, RJF can step up. Van Noy is more critical imo
