They just don’t care.Brees was quite vocal criticizing the Thursday nite format, reechoing the familiar refrain that players do not have time to recover..
Somewhere along the line there will be recognition that too many injuries occur on Thursday nite..
Uneven officiating?? When will the NFL really make this better??..
In inclement weather, so we KNOW he can make those catches in the playoffs. That is a high pressure catch... Sign the beast.

NO is not much better than ATL.The refs gave ATL every opportunity to win the game. That RTP penalty against NO was BS.
Kamara is the most important skill position player for NO.
NO is a much better team than ATL, it took injuries officiating and some mistakes of their own doing to barely lose this game.
Thursday night games was a judgement call, can’t go back on it now.I’m sure the NFL recognizes that. They just don’t care.
You could. The sign of a good manager is admitting a mistake and going back to the way things were if they were working better than what you have suggested. Goodell is not a good manager. He’s not even a decent one. To call him a terrible manager would be an insult to terrible business leaders. He’s the dog **** that you stepped in and is left over in the crevaces at the bottom of your shoe after you’ve scraped the rest off.Thursday night games was a judgement call, can’t go back on it now.

As Batman would say regarding the quality and safety of TNF...
OH I've always liked you TB , you post some good out of the ballpark stuff I read, I'm just steamed at the one-sided Ref calls, and it kind of falls into Goodell being called a bank robber by 2 people on the Saints team last week, one prob SP, Benson leaving the community saying he cant work with Goddell, Goddell not approving any expansion to the Dome 3x, yet approves Auther Blanks 1 billion dollars awful looking new stadium, and Blank approves Goddels $200 5 year contract as head of the commity. and suddenly the camera goes blank after Collinsworth says "well thats a tap, didn't look like a personal foul to me on Ryan" , and said why wasn't the head to head called on Kamars, then blank.... no other foul was shown. Ginn was clock in a head to head worse than Kamara and wasnt shown.Brees looks fine to me from what I've seen. I mean he's top 3 in the league in yards and QB rating. Also, that user is probably the "#1 most unpopular opinion" poster on here.
yeah in a way it hurts because we really hurt his career, but he saved us. Not sure many QB's would have dealt with the horrible D in NO, Brees has heart, not a perfect specimen, or a GOAT like TB, but he has a heart, his physical was never better than most, his head and work ethic is better than most, the physical is going to break down soon.Brees IS the Saints. Period. I fully believe he would have multiple rings if he ever had a legit defense. All time great for sure and still very underrated and overlooked in my opinion. He's always appeared to have the heart and "it" factor to. Love me some Brees.
Brees has the balls of a burglar, and I mean that as a compliment. My favorite non-Pats QB and I go back to the days when many others not named Kyrie Irving thought the earth was flat. A great QB and quality guy.yeah in a way it hurts because we really hurt his career, but he saved us. You are spot on pherein. Like many other people, I was livid watching this game. I knew from the first possession it was going to be a hideously reffed game when the defensive holding AND interference weren't called in the end zone on the DB who mugged Thomas that cost the Saints a first and goal at the one. That was a four point swing when they had to settle for the FG. Then the very next possession the Saints get flagged on 3rd down on a very ticky-tack call that extended the Falcons drive and gave them three points. After those two possessions, I knew the screw job was going to be pretty bad. And didn't the embellishment job Ryan did on his flop from the Rankins shove extend the drive which led to their lone TD in the first half? The final straw was the official who ignored SP screaming for a time out, and then almost baiting him to come out on the field to voice his displeasure. The officials should have huddled and come to the logical conclusion that the flag should have been picked up because it was the official's mistake in not granting the time out.
