I'm glad Seattle lost - they come across as a bunch of conceited jerks. However, why they continued to run plays to the middle of the field, with no effort to get out of bounds, on that last drive when they had no timeouts was beyond me. How can you still not have clock management skills and awareness? It was great that the talk several times was how "both of these teams suffered heartbreak at the hands of the New England Patriots during their last trip to the Super Bowl." Hahahaha!

He should have been doing it for the last 5 plays or so of that drive. Dummy is right.

I dislike both teams. In fact when the time comes for the sun to set on the Billichick and Brady, era I will probably stop watching football completely.

It's funny as I was thinking about this today with my arguments on another thread about Kraft and his response to Deflategate vs. Jones and his response to Elliot-gate. Although I will probably never stop watching the Pats, I wonder if my "fanhood" will diminish when Brady and BB retire. Right now it feels like it will.

That reminds me of the ad I'd pitch if I were in such a position. Say we're making a beer ad.

With the sounds of cheering and confetti falling in the background, Matt Ryan trudges off the Super Bowl field with his head down.

He goes to a door marked "NFC Club". He opens it.

Kurt Warner is there, in his Rams jersey. "Tough break kid." Pats him on the shoulder.
Jake Delhomme is there. "Almost had it, man."
Donovan McNabb is there. "You'll get 'em next time."
Russell Wilson is there. "I know exactly how you feel." Russell hands him a beer. They clink bottles.
