"The season is going to be a game in Pittsburgh in December. Everything leading up to that is just a formality"
Steelers HC Mike Tomlinson speaking to his team just prior to yesterday's game against the Indianapolis Colts that the Steelers eked out on a last minute field goal.
I have a bad feeling about Pittsburgh this year, like I’m reliving the nightmare of the 2015 Broncos. They’ve been incredibly lucky and healthy....I have this bad feeling they will get every break imaginable and beat some injury depleted version of us by a point. And, I just hate that team so much I couldn’t stomach watching them win it all. Easily my most hated team in the NFL.
The Oakland offense is for real.
You think the fans can get through customs when they do a criminal background check???????Their fans. They've got a guy who dresses as Darth Vader.
Denver was garbage. Oakland is worse. No worries at all except the usual things like injuries or stupid turnovers..
Oakland is undisciplined but they still have Carr whose miles better than Brock. That said, oaklands D is abysmal. I expect brady to drop 35-40 on Oakland.
If they do it like last year, they will travel early in the week, i remember them having some special events with the team and some fans during the week last year before their game against the Texans. One other factor to consider. The Pats just played a game at altitude ( 5200 ft) and are training at altitude before going on to Mexico City ( 7000 ft). The Raiders were on a bye week and if they do the usual go into a city a day or two before for an away game, I would give the advantage to the Pats for preparing for the elements... Raiders could easily get gassed if they aren't acclimated...
Like you say.. I think our offense is substantially better than the 2017 Raiders offense and their defense is far, far worse than our defense. I dont see a path for them to win the game that doesnt involve injuries and/or 2+ turnovers on our end.
Yep, pretty much exactly how I feel, too. Obviously, it would be great to win in Pittsburgh in Dec., but I have a feeling the Steelers will be treating that as their SB, while Belichick may be preparing for a second matchup in the back of his mind.
Raiders playing New England in Mexico City a 'competitive disadvantage'If they do it like last year, they will travel early in the week, i remember them having some special events with the team and some fans during the week last year before their game against the Texans.
