TNF: Wildebeest vs. Jete

10-6 gets the Pats in the playoffs. This season I believe just getting in is enough to make a run. So many teams already depleted of upper echelon talent.

The ideal solution for broadcasts would be allowing the TV to be in sync with local radio or national radio.

Then fans could choose a "homer broadcast" that will be biased the way we want it to be biased...

The ultimate NFL game to watch and listen to:

No play-by play announcer (we can see what is happening).

Matt Chatham and Tony Romo as the only two voices, analyzing the game and adding their opinions.

To the four networks: your ratings are supposedly down, right?
Why not give this (or something similar) a try?
Needs to be on a game with a large neutral (no rooting-interest) audience.

Add in the overhead camera view that we saw in the fog game for all four quarters..

Trust me, it would be a big hit.

I disagree. We need a play by play announcer. And it should be Snoop Dog. :D

This team isn’t going 10-6. I think 12-4 is their floor.

As for the Bills? What a shock seeing “the most complete team in the AFC East” getting shellacked. By the Jete of all teams! Eh, @slash83?

The real Tyrod stood up again last night. This guy is so slow in going through his reads that he has to keep plays alive with his feet until he can spot the open receiver. The Jets game plan on defense was brilliant last night as they kept pushing the pocket in on him and would not allow him to scramble to the outside.
You can bet Belichick and Patricia were taking notes.

Taking care of business w/ these 8 Games Remaining:
2 vs Dolphins
2 vs Bills
1 vs Jets (home)
Broncos (away)
Pitt (away)
Raiders (home)

As is frequently the case, as the season goes on, exactly how difficult the schedule looks changes. A few weeks ago we looked to have a tough schedule. It's now looking a little bit softer (though still the toughest between KC, Pitt, NE). But while it's looking a bit better, this would be a great time for the Offense to gel to provide better room for error (IMHO right now we don't have a lot of room for error).
HFA:
Obviously the Pitt game is CRITICAL! Pitt's schedule isn't likely to produce many losses for them. We lose to Pitt and we are on the outside looking in for HFA. Baltimore, Oakland and Tennessee playing Pitt tough will be much appreciated.

Bye:
1.Dallas beats KC this weekend.
2.Chargers beat KC mid December.
3.The rest of the AFCE helps out by losing every game to the Patriots but plays KC tough.

With 8 games left obviously there is a lot of time/games for the landscape to change (KC trending downward would be my bet if I had to make one). But the outlook right now is the Patriots can afford but one loss, two on the very outside but it can't be a loss to Pitt. A loss to Pitt coupled with one more loss to any team may be 11-4 yet getting one the two critical bye seeds would be damn worrisome.

Raiders game is also AWAY, but in Mexico City.

Only home games left are the three division opponents.

Pats SHOULD beat Denver and the Raiders, and asking for 4 out of 5 in the remaining division games isn't outrageous. That puts them, as usual, at 12 or 13 wins.

Not really.
Each team has different talents. A viable strategy for a team with a strong DL is not applicable to another whose defensive talent lies in the defensive backfield. But yes, I do think our strategy as most always with mobile QBs will be to contain him in the pocket. Good luck setting the edge.

Playing on the road against a divisional opponent in 3 days is always tough. If the game were in Buffalo, I have no doubt Bills would have won. They haven't turned the ball over much this season until last night. McDermott has them playing really well. I think they are still good and may get a wildcard spot.

That sounds like something our DL is not capable of.

MUST stay away from anymore injuries to key players to win 12 or 13 games.

They’d be fine with it if Marsh would stop overpursuing and pushing too far upfield. This was something that Nink was EXCELLENT at in his prime. Marsh is having a harsh learning curve thus far.

We heard the same thing before the Atlanta game, about how NE couldn't do what Miami and Buffalo's defense did do them because they were too slow and the DL sucked. Unsurprisingly, the defense as a unit shut down Atlanta's offense and performed better against them than either of the aforementioned defenses.

What do Bill and Patricia know about defense though? Complete bums coaching a unit of absolute scrubs, right?

Problem is...mobile QB's have eaten our lunch. I was so jealous of that Jets DL...
…including whoever wore #94; he looked pretty good out there sometimes.
Why can't we get guys like that?

You guys see that video of the Jets defense dancing around while the Bills are in their huddle? It's all over Twitter and YouTube.

Remember when they were doing the same to NE because they were up 14-0 with 9 minutes left in the 2nd quarter? NE pinned deep in their own territory? Then the Pats offense proceeded to throw up 14 on them before the half ended? LOL. Wonder why I can't find video of them dancing then
