HOU QB Deshaun Watson tore ACL - out for season

I wonder if it happened at Reliant Stadium or whatever the hell they are calling it now. Crappy turf there, Pats lost Welker, Rodney in the Super Bowl, etc.

Hoping for the best for Watson, he has been a great addition to the league this year

Gutted. Love watching him play. Has a ridiculous amount of talent.

That's a bummer for them.

I also want to take this time to say all you f**ks that were whining about the defense against Houston well they played better against Watson than Seattle did.

I'm sure Cleveland is smiling. Texans probably gonna be a top 10 pick now which belongs to Cleveland wh oowns their 1st and 2nd round picks

Damn. Non contact injuries are always the worst. Great players are dropping like flies this season. Whoever is the healthiest come January will most likely win the Lombardi trophy

It’s getting absurd. Are the Steelers the only contender left without a major year-ending injury?

At the half of the regular season the league lost 5-6 starting QBs to injuries:

Rodgers
Luck
Watson
Palmer
Tannehill
(Bradford)

At least 7 more missed games/playing through significant injuries well under 100%
Flacco, Cutler, Carr , Siemian, Winston, Newton, Mariotta

That's just too much.

That's awful. He had so much promise- here's to a quick & complete recovery. We need decent QB's in this league!

That just sucks for Watson the player and person. Football is dangerous enough as it is -- a non contact ACL is just appalling.
Tough luck for BOB too. Every time he gets his team running well either an injury derails it or the Patriots cause it.

Sucks to see this, I was a big fan of Watson and the NFL is losing a lot of quality QBs which hurts the game

selfish perspective: My fantasy season is pretty hosed at this point... ive never been this snake bitten in a fantasy season ever... ive lost Odell Beckham, Aaron Rodgers, Dalvin Cook, Andrew Luck, DeShean Watson, Greg Olsen and a few others already this year

I have no more QBs on my roster... and this is what I'm looking at for free agent QBs:

Jacoby BrissettQB - IND
Jared GoffQB - LA
Carson PalmerQB -
Eli ManningQB
Trevor SiemianQB -
Case KeenumQB -
Blake BortlesQB - JAX
DeShone KizerQB - CLE
Brian HoyerQB - NE
Joe FlaccoQB - BAL
Jay CutlerQB - MIA
C.J. BeathardQB - SF
Kevin HoganQB - CLE
Mike GlennonQB - CHI
Mitchell TrubiskyQB - CHI
Sam BradfordQB - MIN
Ryan FitzpatrickQB - TB
Matt MooreQB - MIA

They started playing on field turf like 2 years ago. Took them long enough.

It's only a matter of time before the injury bug hits them too

That is awful. Such an amazing future ahead of him. Hope he makes a full recovery.
