Patriots will win Sunday vs Chargers

You did it! Awesome! I'm hoping we can frustrate Rivers and their defense like Philadelphia did. I haven't watched the Chargers since that game, so I wonder if they improved their tackling. Blount was tearing them apart with every handoff. Lot of missed tackles. Hoping Gillislee can give 'em that work.

West coast team coming east? Check. Patriots favored? Check? Coming of emotional win? Check. Thin air road trip coming up? Check. All the stars should align.....yet I have a bad feeling about this one. 40-3 Chargers...

With Amendola questionable or not up to full play and with the Chargers have 3 good pass rushers along with the possible rain heavy at times this could be a very difficult game. I hope a running back are up for a great game.

Pats win

their #1 pass defense

Why is it only the Pats have totally scienced the mystique out of their defensive scheme?

I mean, I understand it's Brady, but shouldn't that just make it easier, but not so much so that other decent teams can't do the same thing? This is the same Steeler team that's PROUD of the fact they do the same thing every year.

Then again, maybe the rest of the league is JUST as arrogantly ignorant. Yeah, that's probably it.

I'm sure this will get the trolls and doom-and-gloomers talking. But it's absolutely laughable to even entertain the idea that this is a benching/punishment when he was coming off his best game of the season, holding Mike Evans to one of his worst games of his career.

Nah, no way this could simply be the Pats taking a cautious approach with the bye week next week. Nope must be he's in Belichick's dog house and the Pats faked the whole concussion protocol thing.

I get the optimism, but I agree that it’s a terribly simplistic and more importantly, faulty line of reasoning. Each individual game presents its own challenges due to variables such as player matchups, injuries, travel, etc.

I like the Pats this week because I think they are better in some areas and that west coast teams have some issues traveling 3 time zones away.
Yep, particularly 1 o'clock games.

They finally got around to changing their scheme after the nail-in-the-coffin AFCCG loss. They drafted players who could play man coverage and even brought in Haden via trade. So far, it’s working out well for them. Second round safety Sean Davis looks good, as does first rounder Artie Burns.

Not sure why others couldn’t replicate the Pats success, but it’s a fair question. I don’t think the talent and coaching were there, but that’s just my guess.

You're 2-0 now.

Really going out on a limb with this one..
