Out of market streaming problems... am I the only one?

I do Sunday Ticket for $99 through Sunday Ticket U plan. All you need is a college student ID (I borrowed one from my coworkers daughter). And for an extra $50 you can get Game Rewind in case you miss the game live.

Reddit is the best I've found- excellent quality- but new Orleans game had to endure a lot of buffering.
I think the NFL has a hand in this; I watch the red Sox all the time on Reddit and never deal with buffering.

Reddit streams work. Watched the Texans game on it. I used it for all of the NBA playoffs too.

If you have family in New England that either watches the game or doesn't mind if you hijack a TV on game day, then you can hook up a Slingbox to the TV. That's my solution. It's as HD as my TV and I'd say it has about 95% uptime. It would be 100% for me, but the internet at my parents' house is crap.

If you can mask your IP that your Canadian, dazn.com is the only way to get the "Sunday Ticket" experience in Canada and it's only $20 a month and you get RedZone as well along with other stuff

Show up 1 hour before kickoff

I did not say this. I am not here.
I tried that for the saints fans and it kept directing me to "enter your credit for a free subscription" sites.
Then I would get the feed, go back through and get another site that wanted my credit card.

Could someone who uses this post the steps to take after going to the website?
It's not like there is just one button to click.

You definitely need to have an adblocker installed to use any of the links on that subreddit, if you don't already. I recommend uBlock Origin - if you have that it should get rid of almost all the ads that I think you're referring to.

Other than that, any link to a paid stream will usually get downvoted pretty hard there, so if you stick to the highly upvoted stuff you should be okay.

I didn't realize YouTube TV had expanded to Boston, apparently that just happened last month? That's big, might have to jump on that. Do you have to spoof your location every time you go to watch or just when signing up? Either's fine, but the latter would be more convenient.

You have to spoof every time you watch or you don't get local channels but you can just keep the spoof app going in chrome all the time and never think about it.

To sign up you need to have the location spoof and be on a Boston area ip, and not all VPNs work. The best way to initially sign up is if you know someone in the Boston area and can use their pc.

Do you use AdBlocker?

I have used multiple sites listed on reddit and have never once been asked for a credit card.

Adblock Plus for Chrome is the one I have installed, and I am sure there are other similar variations.

Issues were reported with Direct TV again this year. If that is the streamers source, the problem is passed on.

I'm in Florida and I'm gonna add my vote for Reddit. I have both Ublock Origin and Adblock Plus. Reddit has the best streams.

Can someone help me with Reddit?
I go there and all I see are game threads.
When I open the game thread and it lists streams when I click one it asks me to register. This is what happened last time and I had to put in my credit card to register.

I have Directv and every year I call to cancel and they usually offer me Sunday Ticket free, there was only one year where I had to pay half for a season, other than that call directv if you have them and speak to retention (loyalty team) and they can usually pull some strings to give you the offers as long as you are good at paying your bills.

DAZN in Canada sucks. I ordered it yesterday as this is the first game not on regular TV. Missed the first few minutes of the game as the feed was cycling. Now every few snaps the screen goes fuzzy.

What a f'n joke. I've ordered NFL Ticket from my cable provider every year with no issues. This year the NFL sells the rights to DAZN and the feed is garbage. You'd think the NFL would require the provider to prove they have capability to provide the service before giving them the rights. Another notch on Goodell's belt of big F ups.

What many of you glitchy streamers are encountering is that this season, just recently, many home ISP providers are now blacklisting known (streaming/torrent) URL domains IP's in their default provided DSN lookups.

In human words, when you type http://www.abcstreams.com into your browser, or one of the many frames requested by the site you are visiting does, your ISP instead of changing the abcstreams.com into its proper IP of say 123.123.34.123 like all normal DNS's should, instead it sends you to a copy of the page it cached/copied somewhere done just to thwart this type of thing; i.e. YOU visiting a page THEY don't like.

Without reverting to a paid VPN, which is your best option altogether, just change your computer/browser's default DSN lookup. It's found in your browser setting security page. Maybe change it to google's DNS 8.8.8.8 (but I cannot confirm they don't do the same thing, but I've read they do not), or just do a little research and find another DNS that doesn't do this type of blacklisting. There are many, many of these out there, and DNS's are a free type thing. Some just respect your privacy and net neutrality more than others. This should help immensely with the glitchiness as all the pages requested in the background will return correctly.

As an editorial rant, this is a pretty crappy thing for your paid commercial ISP to do. DNS is just like a digital public phone book that changes www names into numbers, and your ISP has decided it's ok to change some of the names and give you a recording rather than put the call through.

I built a special media computer to stream games. Big waste of time. There is a YouTube video on how to install chrome on a firestick. Then you can go to sports are free.xyz with no spaces. I did that method today. Great quality. It's the first time I needed to stream this year ( for a Patriots game)

My Amazon stick did not have a single working stream the entire game today.

I had to work a rare NFL Sunday so I was wondering how DAZN was. I been using DAZN the first 3 weeks on my tablet as a 2nd screen. The quality was not the best when I watched the Giants preseason game on my Xbox One.

I think and hope the service will improve as it's very cheap compared to Sunday Ticket which was always getting a price hike every year.I can't really complain as I signed up in August and because of the issues they had, most of the users got another free month added on.

My experience was the opposite... the first stream I tried had great video, but the audio was 5 minutes (!) behind.

The second stream I tried was great throughout.

FWIW... looks like my Roku LT doesn't support Sunday Ticket through DirecTV. So I'm glad I didn't spend the money for it... especially given the outcome of the game.
