It's easy, and only takes a few moments. Many times he's said this, so why people are ready to jump off a cliff and declaring the team 8-8 and all that nonsense after the first few games of the season is baffling. How can I expect 2014 taught the haters anything if it didn't even teach our own fans anything?Yup, Belichick calls this the September preseason for a reason
Michael Felger is going to disappointed that he cannot over analyze Tony Romo's comment comparing Cooks to Joey Galloway for a second week.
Fair enough, I now understand now how one could dislike the post I made. I'm not overly familiar with the timeline of his cancer and seeing that it was prior to the 2014 season, and not more recent, surprised me. I shouldn't have made such a strong claim, as it seems the evidence is much spottier than I originally thought.
Still, I doubt that a partial, if not full castration is a good thing for anyone, no less an NFL player to go through (especially an offensive lineman). I'm not a biology geek but I'd imagine such a procedure would, at least to some extent, lower testosterone which we all know has a wide-array of effects on mood, confidence, ability to physically exert and recover, etc. That said, it's perfectly plausible that it would have little or no impact on his (or any player's) ability to perform at a high level in the NFL. Just my initial intuition, but I could be wrong (it happens often, heh). It would seem that the evidence and statistics show that it has had no major effect on his ability to perform.
Apologies for my misinformed post.
