So you are weaseling out of the bet? What is your excuse?

I'm unsure of why you think I need excuses when I've got the truth on my side? I have no problem paying off a bet if I've legitimately lost. It just so happens that I've never had to do so, because I've literally never even come close to losing a bet in my life. It's actually quite an impressive talent I've got, and I'm a little perplexed that you aren't showing more respect for it.

I laid it all out brilliantly in the the gambling thread, in what was easily the most intelligent post that has ever been made in this forum's existence.

You bet on mcgregor and lost. I assume you are now being a ****y and refusing to pay up.

You clearly have an entirely different take on what transpired. I said McGregor would win the fight. The winner of that fight was, without a shadow of a doubt Conor McGregor. But I can see where your confusion comes from. I blame the Marquess of Queensberry rules for not aligning with the rules of a real fight and for failing to conform. That's not on me. You can take your frustrations out on the WBC.

Lets talk about what went wrong:

1.) Tackling- The patriots didn't wrap up last night, and Kc dominated because of it, Lots of YAC, Lots of broken tackles by the RB's. It was ugly, but its something that can be fixed.

2.) Pass rush- It was ugly. Alex smith had all day most of the game, in fact alex smith had more sacks of alex smith then the patriots DL. In addition to that there were numerous times where Smith ran the option and not a SINGLE time did a patriots player lay him out. I don't care if it involves a 15 yard penalty, if Alex Smith starts running and your about to hit him and he shovel passes it, lay him the **** out. You beat the option, by making the QB be in a lot of pain for pretending to be a running back.

3.)Blown Coverage- We paid Gilmore a lot of money. like absurd amounts. There is no reason a man who got that contract should have just let someone run by him like that.

4.)The deep Ball- Brady was on target most of the night, and if not for a few super obvious DPI he would have had a much better stat sheet. That said there were 5 or 6 throws last night where he was trying to force the long ball. Almost no screens, Very little out of the slot, Almost nothing up the seem. The patriots did not play patriot football last night.

5.)Special teams outside of kick off returns. This was a disaster. You hit the kicker twice on consecutive plays.

I think this game will be a wakeup call for a lot of guys. They played REAL sloppy. The coaching also wasn't great.

I think they will turn it around but honestly unless we see some moves made to bring in some talent on D, we're looking at a 10 win season at best right now with how many key players are injured.

You are a scumbag Be a man and pay off your bet.

Pats will figure **** out. The Edelman injury is going to continue to hurt until we can really adjust. But that is where the defense must step in.

That is a talented group and they have no excuse for getting torched like they did. If the defense didn't face plant with hideously broken coverage there is still a decent chance we win that game. Defense is fully capable but they let us down last night. The offense isn't ready to carry us against higher quality teams, not yet.

even though they played like complete ASS,
This begs clarification, as it could mean many things: they hauled ass, they kicked ass (debatable) ... It could be an acronym for playing A Simple System. You obviously have great knowledge, an insider's view of how NFL teams operate. Please elucidate further.

"We've been in tougher spots than this" Tom Brady.

Randomish pile-on:

- The over-the-top banner ceremony was an anti-Belichickian karma buster. BB's whole story is that they don't look back, it's a new season, last year doesn't mean anything, etc. That opening was exactly the opposite. I don't think it really had anything to do with the game performance, but it was a far cry from run-out-as-a-team like in Brady's first super bowl.

- At least for a night, the Chiefs unleashed two NFL super stars in Hill and Hunt who combined for like 350 yards. And I don't think anyone saw that coming. Who expects the Chiefs to ever have offense super stars with that production?

If you think the first game of the season can bring issues to light or confirm concerns that were up in the air going in, you're right.

If you think you - as a fan of a football team - can identify those problems with any degree of nuance which would validate a post ranting about said problems and then also predict failure (or success, for that matter) over the rest of the season in a league of highly transient rosters influenced by infinite variables, you're fooling yourself.

None of us really know much more about the team's odds for success or failure now than we did five minutes before the game. Our brains processed what we saw in real time, utilizing a relatively minute amount of information compared to what the team has available to it. We aren't coaches, we're fans. Venting is completely valid, pretending as if you suddenly became the Nostradamus of football is a bit hyperbolic.

It's one thing to get blown out at home and another thing on the road. We were lead to believe that this was one of best squad in recent memory 16-0, now we have to wonder if it is one of the worst with all the injury. The honey moon/superbowl party is over and many problems have to get fixed fast.

What we believe is meaningless. What anyone believes is meaningless. Unfortunately too many people do not understand that.
What happens on the football field is what matters and I have a ton of confidence that these coaches and these players will get it done on the field and when week 18 gets here we will have a bye and be preparing to win 3 more games and probably be favored to win them all.

Well said. Could not agree any more.

Chiefs front office is phenomenal at drafting stud players

ITS MY FAULT
I have a Brady superbowl Jersey from the game that shall not be named.
I only wore it one time and it was when Brady tore his ACL against Kanas City.
I said last night there's no such thing as curses so I wore it.
Now Brady didn't go down but I'm a little creeped out by the results.
The reason I believe the Jersey is evil I ordered it before that Superbowl it didn't come til the Tuesday after the game sat in the closet and was worn during the game Brady went down and now last night.
I'm seriously conteplating getting rid of it maybe even a bonfire if the jersey truly is evil.
I'm half joking and part of me is still hmm.

How do you explain all of mcgregor illegal rabbit punches on the top of the head? Floyd fought fair and square, and kicked his ass. Mcgregor got stopped by a 40 year old man
