It's easy, and only takes a few moments. As the roster is presently constructed, I don't see where a consistent pass rush will come from. Even if Hightower rushes more. There are some FAs available and it is very possible BB is waiting until this Week 1 game to possible make any more significant changes.

We have the bodies to play any front. The lack of players with the specific skill set as a strength is my concern. If you have a chance you should listen to Matt Chatham's podcast I posted. He discusses that issue. Basically a 5 man front, 3 DLs and 2 OLBs.

I like Hightower and Marsh as the 2 OLBs in a 5 man front though. Then if Butler can carry his play from the PS into the regular season.
Keep an eye on Marsh this year.
I think hes gonna do real well in this system.

Andy Benoit said:So where did the diamond come from? “Buddy [Ryan] really popularized the five-down look in the early-, mid-’80s,” says seven-time Super Bowl winner Bill Belichick, as good a source as you’ll find on just about any defensive subject. “He played it a lot in his base defense. His thing was really to get Dan Hampton [with the Bears], and then Reggie White [with the Eagles] on the nose. So part of it was the [structure of having] five-down, but part of it was to take the best player he had and put him on the center.”

I think we will see a 3-3-5 more with someone like Richards supporting the run defense and covering the RB. Van Noy, Hightower, Marsh, Langi, McClellan all have trouble covering the RB.
