Cooks, Mitchell, Amendola, Carr...
Not exactly disastrous at the WR spot.

Have you ever watched a New England Patriots football game with Tom Brady as the quarterback?

I can only imagine what jules's feeling right now. It's not like he's a young buck☹️

Probably not that much, but I wonder how he'd do with 20-25 snaps a game running Edelman type plays that require quick cuts.

I think Steve smith would jump at the opportunity but he would have to learn the offense.

We need gronk to complete a full season this year. I just don't know how you replace him. I know a lot of folks would hate this but would you take a shot with mr salsa man victor cruz if he was released? He seems like a smart guy and good route runner despite not having the explosion he once had.

Not holding my breath and hope you ain't holding yours.

No sir I have not.

Seriously...

This team wins 3rd down with Branch/Brown/Welker/Edelman. Those same guys were also big for setting the tone on first down.

If Edelman's gone, there's not a close replacement. That's big, because it will mean that the team has to make major changes, especially with regards to 1st and 3rd down passing.

This is the way of the NFL. Injuries for a vet are an opportunity for a young kid. Ask Drew Bledsoe.

The GOAT turns Austin Carr into Greatness...Because that's what Tom Brady does. The man takes beach sand and turns it into fine sugar...All is well Patriot Nation...

So you're saying they're done?
This place is absolutely out of control nuts!

We've got our weekend back.... Don't have the ability to quote it, but Schefter's updated that the MRI is tomorrow and not Sunday.

Did you actually see his season last year? He doesn't have to be a number 1 option here.
You dont need him. Hogan and Cooks are big time players. Mitchell will/should be better than last year version (hogan too). Amendola is feeling great. White and Lewis can catch lots of balls.
Then you have Carr and Lucian who seem to be ready to make a jump.

Why would you want that ***hole on the team?

Well that's my concern with a big 3rd down to move the chains. I am hoping mitchell takes a big leap forward this season but we haven't seen him on the field as much this preseason.

No. I'm saying it's a big loss that will have to get schemed around, like Gronk only moreso.
